[Midori-ku, Nagoya] "bb.q Olive Chicken Cafe", a Very Popular Korean Chicken Restaurant!

Korean chicken is by far the most popular fast food in Korea. When you watch Korean dramas, you see fathers buying chicken for their children after work, young men eating chicken delivered late at night, and many other scenes.

Many Korean chicken chains have now entered the Japanese food scene, allowing customers to enjoy authentic Korean chicken in Japan without having to travel to the country.

First landing in Nagoya in November 2021! "bb.q olive chicken cafe"

Among these many chicken restaurants, we would like to introduce bb.q Olive Chicken Cafe Hills Walk Tokushige Gardens Store, which just opened in November 2021.

This is the first store to open in Nagoya. This long-awaited first store in Nagoya has attracted a large number of Korean lovers.

And "bb.q Olive Chicken Cafe" is a hot topic as a chicken shop that appeared in the famous Korean drama "Crash Landing on You"! Being able to visit the shops that actually appear in the drama while still in Japan is the ultimate happiness for a Korean drama fan.

The biggest attraction of "bb.q olive chicken cafe" is the special frying oil made with olive oil.

They use a proprietary frying oil that combines extra virgin olive oil purchased from contract farmers in Catalonia, Spain, and cholesterol-free soy oil. The addition of olive oil makes the batter crispier, lighter, and tastier.

It's healthier than regular fried chicken!

Introducing the recommended menu

Here are some must-try dishes when you visit bb.q Olive Chicken Cafe! From the standard chicken to the popular side dishes, here is a summary of everything you need to know.

Yangnyeom Chicken Combo

"Yangnyeom Chicken Combo" 990 yen (tax included)

When in doubt about what to order, this is it! The “Yangnyeom Chicken Combo” is a set of 1 piece of yangnyeom chicken, 3 boneless chicken fingers, french fries, honey bread, and a drink.

"Yangnyeom chicken"

Yangnyeom chicken is eaten Korean-style with your hands using vinyl gloves.

The sweet and salty sauce is fully entwined with the crispy light batter, creating an exquisite taste and texture! It's just the right amount of spiciness, so even people who don't like spicy food can enjoy it.

"Olive chicken fingers"

Olive chicken fingers with crunchy batter and juicy meat. It's boneless and not spicy, so even small children can eat it easily! It is an attractive chicken that can be easily eaten as a snack.

Olive chicken fingers come with 5 original sauces to choose from.

This time, we chose the most popular honey mustard. The sweetness of honey matches the spiciness of grain mustard, and it's the best taste!

"French fries"

The side menu that comes with the combo is also gorgeous!

The hearty french fries are made by frying large cut potatoes in the same special frying oil used to fry chicken. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It's an addictive potato that is also very satisfying!

"Honey bread"

This is a honey bread with butter and honey on the bread. The warm bread soaked with butter and honey is delicious!

Of course it's delicious to eat as it is, but it's also great to eat it with chicken. It's slightly sweet and matches well with the spiciness of yangnyeom chicken.

"Raw squeezed lemonade (sparkling)"

I would like to recommend the freshly squeezed lemonade for the set drink. The lemon is squeezed every day at the store, so it's very fresh and refreshing. If you drink it after eating fried food, your mouth will feel refreshed!

Yangnyeom chicken burger

"Yangnyeom chicken burger (single item)" 390 yen (tax included)

Chicken is not enough! I want to eat a lot of carbs too! For those people, the chicken burger is recommended. With a large piece of olive chicken, plenty of vegetables, and soft and sweet whole wheat buns, it's a satisfying meal!

The combination of the yangnyeom chicken sauce and the fluffy buns makes for an indescribable taste. You can enjoy various textures with crunchy vegetables and olive chicken batter.

Mexican chicken salad

"Mexican chicken salad (single item)" 590 yen (tax included)

There is also a meal size salad with lots of olive chicken! This time, I chose a spicy Mexican chicken salad from among various types.

The spicy pickled jalapenos accent the dish. The chicken is bigger than you might imagine, and there are plenty of vegetables! The portion is enough to satisfy a full meal, so it is recommended for those on a diet or who just want a light meal.

Cheese ball

Here is the No. 1 menu that I would like to recommend in the side menu! A very popular dessert in Korea "Cheese ball". It is a standard snack that can be eaten deliciously by adults and children alike.

Freshly fried and piping hot, the cheese inside melts! The salty flavor of the cheese works on the sweet dough, and it's delicious without a doubt.

Radish pickles

Everyone, don't forget this! "Daikon Radish pickles" are the perfect accompaniment to Korean chicken.

This is the radish version of chikinmu (pickled daikon radish) that is often served with Korean chicken. The sweet and sour radish pickles have a good texture and are perfect for refreshing your palate after eating chicken or potatoes.

At "bb.q Olive Chicken Cafe", there are many menus other than those introduced this time, such as "chicken rice" and "chicken curry".

Delicious Korean chicken that you will want to eat again and again. You can also enjoy the local atmosphere at the shop! It's good to take out and eat while watching Korean drama at home!

Please enjoy a Korean atmosphere at "bb.q olive chicken cafe".
