I came to Hilton Nagoya!

The location is 5 minutes by car from Nagoya station, about 15 minutes on foot. Get off at Subway Higashiyama Line "Fushimi Station", get off at Exit 7, and walk for about 3 minutes. This makes it easy to visit on holidays.

After taking a temperature and sterilizing with alcohol, we checked in first.

You can also check in and check out via the Hilton Honors app, which you can join for free. It's a great way to select your room in advance and your smartphone becomes a digital key as it were. If you are looking for a more reduced contact with people, please take advantage of this service.

There was a blue sticker on the door of the guest room.

This is "Clean Stay Room Seal". This is proof that the room has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. After this sticker is affixed, it means that no one has entered or left the room.

This sweet is inspired by the Chisha Cat from "Alice in Wonderland. It is a sweet made from rice! Coconut-flavored and lavender jelly is topped with Spanish-style rice pudding.

The blue caterpillar cake from "Alice in Wonderland." Contrary to its surprising appearance, the pistachio cream was a superb cake. The berry jelly inside was also a perfect match.

"Tarta de Santiago" is a Spanish-style almond cake, a traditional pastry from Galicia, Spain. Made with only almonds, eggs, and sugar, it has a simple and comforting taste.

The plate also includes savory churros, a salty, chunky, crispy savory churro, and a black and white bocadillo with a Spanish omelette.

Drinks are essential for afternoon tea.

You can choose coffee or tea. Both pots are plentiful, so I was able to enjoy a relaxing tea time.

Afternoon tea in the room was more relaxing than usual. Being able to relax and enjoy the scenery unique to high floors is also a big attraction.

Fitness center

Then let's head to the fitness center! (Can be used free of charge as an accommodation privilege)

A fitness club operated directly by Hilton, equipped with the latest Technogym training machines, a sauna, an indoor heated pool, and an outdoor tennis court.

Change into training clothes and head to the fitness center! (Towels, T-shirts, shorts, and socks can be rented (extra charge), but shoes are not available, so please bring your own.)

Over 20 Technogym exercise machines in a row. It is a full-fledged facility that you cannot imagine in a hotel.

From standard items such as running machines and strength machines,

Up to the latest machines like step mills that climb stair steps. With a variety of machines, you can train according to your goals and needs.

In addition, there is a 15-meter indoor heated pool and an outdoor tennis court where you can enjoy playing on a court made of deco turf, which is also used for the US Open!

The fitness center is a private space that can only be used by members and hotel guests. Please refresh yourself by sweating as hard as you can.

Go out with a rental bicycle!

One of the pleasures of staying at a hotel is the breakfast buffet!

The "Okomori Hotel Stay" plan includes a buffet breakfast for an extra 2,486 yen (tax and service charge included).

The venue is "In Place 3-3" on the 1st floor. It is a space with a sense of openness that extends to the 3rd floor.

There are more than 80 kinds of Japanese, Western, and Chinese menus.

On weekends and holidays, a kids station will also appear, where you can enjoy special menus for children such as heart-shaped fried eggs, chicken rice, macaroni gratin, and smile-shaped potatoes.

Speaking of hotel breakfast buffets, freshly made omelettes! Tell the chef what ingredients you like, and the chef will finish it right in front of you. I chose spinach, ham and cheese.

Speaking of Nagoya, there is also “Kishimen noodle”! It's fun to taste the local cuisine while feeling like a tourist.

This is the "Ogura (red bean paste) waffle" that you make by yourself with whipped cream and red bean paste.

With more than 80 kinds of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, the buffet is rich in variety, so you can enjoy a variety of dishes.

The Hilton Group, which operates all over the world, has a wide variety of fruits and cereals. In addition, it was a nice point that you can taste Nagoya's famous dishes such as kishimen noodle and Ogura (red bean paste) waffle.

I had never stayed in a nearby hotel before, so I was moved by the fact that I was able to experience something out of the ordinary even though I was in Nagoya. I think it's one of the ways to enjoy yourself in a time like this when you can't easily travel long distances.
