Cycling on Tokyobike
At Nikko Style Nagoya, you can rent a Tokyobike! Since it's a big deal, we decided to cycle around Nagoya city.
▼What is Tokyobike?
"Tokyobike" is a bicycle made for riding in Tokyo. The diameter is about 5cm smaller than that of general sports bicycles and city bicycles, making it easier to start rowing. Coloring that can be enjoyed with everyday clothes is also a point.
Going through Shikemichi and Endoji Shopping Street, we headed for Nagoya Castle! This area is full of old-fashioned scenery, and just riding around here made us feel so good. There are many hidden cafes and shops in this area.
Nagoya is famous for Nagoya Castle! So here we are. It is only about 2 km from Nikko Style Nagoya, but the ride on the Tokyobike was so comfortable that we arrived there in no time. (Despite its stylish appearance, it goes very fast!)
If you have time, please visit "Nagoya Castle Hommaru Palace" and "Kinshachi Alley".
Next, we would like to head to Nagoya's newest spot, RAYARD Hisaya-odori Park.
About 10 minutes from Nagoya Castle, we arrived at RAYARD Hisaya-odori Park, a commercial facility integrated with a park that just opened on September 18, 2020. It has 35 stores including fashion, gourmet, sports, and bookstores.
There are many outdoor resting spots such as lawn squares and benches, so it is recommended for taking a break during cycling!

Just by having a bicycle, you can expand your range of activities. You can enjoy sightseeing in Nagoya even for a few hours after check-in!
Enjoy "Nagoya food" for dinner

Original deep-fried Tebasaki chicken wings (for two)

Taiwan mixed bean sprouts salad
We came to the original deep-fried Tebasaki chicken wings "Furaibo" because we wanted to eat Nagoya food!
The area where Nikko Style Nagoya is located is also attractive for its abundance of restaurants, from standard Nagoya food restaurants such as Tebasaki chicken wings, Hitsumabushi, and Taiwan ramen, to long-established izakayas, and hidden cafes. All shops are within walking distance.
If you are wondering where to go, you can get a map of the area at the front desk, so be sure to check it out.
Using plenty of local ingredients
Chef's specialties morning breakfast
One of the best things about staying at the hotel is the next morning's breakfast!
Choose from three main courses: "American Style Plate with Scrambled Eggs," "French Toast Plate," or "Japanese Wagozen". All of them are rich in ingredients from the three Tokai prefectures.
This is "American style plate of scrambled eggs".
The main plate is scrambled eggs using Toyota City's "Miyazawa Chicken Eggs". Even the spicy Tebasaki chicken wings are there! Dessert is a mini cake with seasonal fruit.
This is a limited edition of 30 servings of "Wagozen". Dessert is kuzukiri and fruit. It's nice to be able to choose Western or Japanese food!
Fresh eggs are poured over the Aichi no Kaori rice to make tamagokake gohan (rice with egg). Delicious!
We were particularly impressed with the light buffet, which included the very rare "Kuwana honey" from Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture. We had it poured over yogurt, which was surprisingly refreshing with a floral aroma!
Kumano's "additive-free mandarin orange juice" is also impressive with the freshness of mandarin oranges.
Of course, the morning breakfast coffee is also TRUNK COFFEE.
We were impressed by the deliciousness of local ingredients, and it was a very satisfying morning breakfast time.
The lunch course is also recommended!
At Style Kitchen, you can enjoy the chef's lunch course and set menus that use plenty of seasonal ingredients from all over Japan carefully selected by the chef.
The dishes created by chefs trained in steakhouses and French cuisine are creative and genreless. This is a very popular lunch with many repeat customers.
The coffee and music, as well as the attention to detail, made for a very cozy overnight stay. Above all, we found the warmth of the staff to be very attractive.
As a base for sightseeing and business, and for micro-tourism to enjoy the nearby area, this hotel will enhance your travel satisfaction. The communal lobby is open to everyone, so we recommend that you stop by on a whim! Please experience their special coffee and music.
