In the store, they sell cakes, baked sweets, gelato, etc., including discerning chocolate.
The store also has a salon space. You can enjoy a relaxing tea time in the spacious space. The most popular is "Deux-choco". Rich chocolate spreads to fill your mouth.
There is no salon space, but there is a store at JR Nagoya Takashimaya, too.

You can enjoy chocolate in various forms, such as chocolate sweets using the highest class couverture chocolate used by the world's top chocolatiers, and bean-to-bar chocolate made from cacao beans.

"bicerin" on the 2nd floor of Midland Square. Established in 1763, it is the oldest long-established cafe in Turin, Italy, and has attracted celebrities from around the world. It is said that the chocolate drink "Bicerin" that bears the name of the store was selected as one of the "100 things that should be preserved in the world" by literary master Hemingway.
Bicerin also has a wide selection of sweets such as chocolates, cakes, and baked goods. Among them, "Baci di Dama", which is chocolate sandwiched between cookie dough, is especially recommended. It is a local Italian confectionery that was offered at the Ise-Shima Summit held in 2016.

French luxury chocolate maker "Jean-Paul Hévin". It landed in Nagoya in the fall of 2017.
The only directly managed store in the Tokai region, Jean-Paul Hévin Mitsukoshi Nagoya Sakae, also has a cafe, BAR à CHOCOLAT.
Speaking of Jean-Paul Hévin, not only chocolate but also macarons are exquisite! At the store, you can put it in a box from 4 pieces.

Founded in 1845, Swiss chocolate maker "Lindt". It is also famous for being the first in the world to make smooth and melting chocolate instead of rough chocolate, which was the norm at the time.
Speaking of Lindt's flagship product, "Lindor" comes in a cute candy-like package. Various gift boxes are available throughout the year, making them perfect for presents!
In the attached cafe space, you can enjoy chocolate drinks using Lindt chocolate!

chez-shibata
It's not a chocolate specialty store, but when you think of Nagoya, you can't miss Chez Shibata. It is a patisserie that represents the Tokai area with 4 stores in Aichi and Gifu and 9 stores overseas.
“Chez Shibata Nagoya” will reopen in February 2021 under the theme of “modern Japanese”. In the center of the store, various sweets such as baked sweets and cookie cans decorate the store.
My recommendation is "Pecan Nut Chocolat (Caramel Salé)". Large roasted pecan nuts are coated with white chocolate and finished with caramel powder. It also keeps for a long time, so it's perfect as a gift!
