Dot Glamping Fuji, a glamping facility where you can also enjoy a sauna while enjoying the view of Mt. Fuji.
This time, we will introduce a glamping facility that is a must-see for sauna lovers.
"Dot Glamping Fuji" is located in Fujikawaguchiko Town, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is a glamping facility where you can relax while looking at Mt. Fuji.
A barrel sauna popular in Finland, a water bath using water from Mt. Fuji, and an open-air bath while looking at Mt. Fuji. You can enjoy the best "totonoi" (revitalization) that can only be experienced here.
This time, Editorial Team actually stayed at Dot Glamping Fuji and we are going to report on the attractions of it from the user's point of view.
Table of Contents
We came to Dot Glamping Fuji! It takes about 3.5 hours by car from Nagoya area.
We had an image of glamping deep in the mountains, but it was easily accessible, just 1.5 km from the shore of Lake Kawaguchi. (Free parking available).
The first step is to register at the trailer in the center of the facility.
Check-in was done on the LINE using a smart phone. It is very convenient because all the necessary information, such as a guide map of the facility, rules of the place, and how to enter the sauna, is delivered to the LINE.
"Park Cabin" where you can relax
At Dot Glamping Fuji, you can choose between two accommodation styles: cabin and tent. Emphasizing privacy, there are only 6 guest rooms.
This time we stayed at "Park Cabin".
The cabin is very spacious! Air conditioning is also provided, so you can spend a comfortable time on both hot and cold days.
Of course, you can also enjoy the superb view of Mt. Fuji from the cabin. It's too luxurious to be able to see Mt. Fuji while relaxing on the sofa!
The beds are spacious and SERTA mattresses, which are also used in high-end hotels, are used.
It is rare for a camp facility to have its own shower room and washbasin. This is a great point!
There is a private wooden deck outside the cabin.
There are also three tent-type rooms in the facility. If you want to enjoy the outdoors more, we recommend the tent type!

Barrel sauna imported from Finland
Finally, to the sauna!
The sauna at Dot Glamping Fuji is a "barrel sauna," which is very popular even in Finland, the birthplace of saunas. Barrel saunas are characterized by their round barrel shape, which allows the temperature to be transmitted evenly. The warmth of the wood is also soothing.
The characteristic way of enjoying the Finnish sauna is "royly". We are going to raise the temperature in the sauna at once with self-loyly. A large amount of steam was generated.
By generating steam all at once, you can perspire and raise the temperature you feel. You can control the steam yourself, so whether you are a beginner or an expert, you can create your own comfortable space, Finnish style!
Water bath using water from Mt. Fuji
The most attractive feature of Dot Glamping Fuji's sauna is the water bath that uses water from Mt. Fuji (*Because it is outdoors, the water temperature fluctuates.)
Cool down at once while gazing at Mt. Fuji.
The water depth is 60 cm, so you can relax in it.
Outdoor bathing with a view of Mt. Fuji
After getting out of the water bath, go straight to the deck and take an open air bath.
The deck has comfortable chairs, infinity chairs, waterproof Yogibo, and other relaxing spaces.
Looking at Mt. Fuji and being surrounded by the clear air at the foot of Mt. Fuji made us feel perfectly relaxed.
Sauna use is reserved in 30-minute increments. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis, so early check-in is recommended.
Original Flavor Shisha
Relaxation Time
"Shisha Plan" is now available at Dot Glamping Fuji.
You can enjoy original flavored Shisha in collaboration with "Shisha-ya [Jin]," known as a "hideout in Roppongi.
All are non-nicotine and non-tar, so even those who don't like smoking should give it a try.
*The Shisha plan is a limited-time plan from March 1, 2022 (Tuesday) to May 31, 2022 (Tuesday). Shisha can be enjoyed at an additional charge regardless of the period.
BBQ time on the terrace
We're getting hungry, so it's BBQ time! One of the joys of glamping is eating food outside.
We will have it on the terrace in front of the cabin that we introduced earlier.
<BBQ menu>
・Fuji vegetable grill
・LOVE MEAT (beef skewers | spare ribs | sausages)
・Messtin rice
・Grilled chicken and potatoes*The menu may change slightly depending on the season and availability.
All you have to do is grill it, so don't worry if you're new to outdoor activities!
Slowly grilled on the BBQ grill.
Try the messtin rice! The feeling of being outdoors is heightened at once.
Fluffy rice was cooked in about 30 minutes.
At Dot Glamping Fuji, you can also enjoy Yamanashi's local and craft beers. There was also "UCHU BREWING" which is irresistible for beer lovers!
It was getting dark little by little.
This is the best part of glamping, getting away from everyday life and spending time in a relaxed atmosphere. There was also a bonfire in front of the trailer.
The cabins are equipped with a projector, so you can enjoy a relaxing movie time in the evening.

Morning breakfast with homemade panini
Breakfast is also outdoor style.
Make your own original panini using a hot sandwich maker. Sandwich your favorite ingredients on bread and grill them on the BBQ grill.
The panini is ready. The cheese was melty and the tomatoes were fresh and exquisite.
