Food and space that reflects your lifestyle

The popular “Beans and oysters keema curry with minced chicken keema curry” ¥1,180.

Modestly sweet "Gateau Chocolat" ¥480.

Fuchitose's menu also offers a wide variety of sweets and drinks, making it perfect for a coffee break time.

"Hot coffee" ¥450 that can also be taken out.

In addition, Fuchitose is a good old space that was renovated from an abandoned inn. The location overlooking the river is creating a space where you can spend an exceptional time.

Lots of windows and beautiful natural light.

You can enjoy the tasteful look of the items and walls on which they are placed.

Access that allows you to enjoy a little sense of travel

The bus stop closest to Fuchitose is Yunoyama Onsen Gozaisho Ropeway Mae.

Many people from Nagoya and Mie Prefecture may feel that Yunoyama is far away, but Fuchitose's access is surprisingly good.

By car: 10 minutes from Komono IC. There is also a parking lot.
In the case of public transportation, change to a bus from Kintetsu Yunoyama Onsen Station and get off at Yunoyama Onsen Gozaisho Ropeway-mae, which is about 5 minutes away. From there, walk for 10 minutes while enjoying the view of Yunoyama and you will arrive.

You can go to Fuchitose for a cup of tea and just walk around the town of Yunoyama, and you can also enjoy a day trip to a hot spring at a nearby ryokan.

The outlook for the future

Tears Hill Beer

Recently, an original Yunoyama beer called "Namidazaka Beer" has begun to be sold. Mr Kondo was in charge of art direction for the beer, which was illustrated by a young local female Japanese-style painter who plans to have an atelier/gallery on the second floor of Fuchitose.

Although there is a bridge called "Namidabashi" in Yunoyama, there is no such hill called "Namidazaka". The company says that the name was chosen with the hope of adding a story to the hilly town of Yunoyama.

Mr Kondo's activities continue, giving names to nameless slopes and injecting a new taste into Yunoyama. I was also one of those who became interested in Yunoyama after being attracted to Mr Kondo. It is said that he envisions the future of Yunoyama, where he wants to make it more attractive through his many years of "thoughts" and "actions," and make it a place where interesting people gather.

Whether it is for a day trip to the hot springs, to participate in an event, or just to enjoy a cup of tea, why not visit Yunoyama "Fuchitose"?

After studying graphic design at university, she learned how to make Japanese sweets from her grandfather while working as a web designer in Nagoya. While inheriting the taste and passion of her family's Japanese and Western confectionery store, which has been in business for over 80 years, she is working to revitalize the town. She started working as a freelance designer in 2019. She will send out the lovely things about Mie.
