What kind of image do you have when you hear the word "record"?
It's a bit old-fashioned, my uncle collects them, and I don't know how to listen to them... something like that?
I was the same way at first!
It's a big black object that looks like a disc.
But the word "record" sounded so stylish! I didn't even own a player, but I bought the first record because "it had a cute jacket".
Nowadays, music is streaming. Many people are able to instantly download songs they are interested in, and many may have fewer opportunities to purchase even CDs.
In the midst of all this, I heard a news report that sales of vinyl records are increasing year by year. In recent years, many fashionable and affordable record players have become available, and more and more artists are releasing analog records in addition to CDs, so it seems that vinyl is gradually becoming more accessible to young people.
The warm sound quality, thick and powerful sound, and the sense of noise that sometimes comes in when you listen to a song on vinyl, even the same song, can be enjoyed in a different atmosphere.
In this issue, I will introduce some recommended stores where you can buy these fascinating records.
Recommended for rock lovers!
ROCK/PUNK/ROCKABILLY/SKA etc.
Large release of used and new ALL ROCK records and CDs!
"Record shop ZOO"
The first store is here!
This is ZOO.
This store deals in used and new records and CDs of various genres, with a focus on rock music.
Sale records are lined up in front of the entrance!
Oh. This is .......
Dragons Victory Commemorative Edition! It is a very hot piece for Nagoya people. The black and white jacket is also cool!
The store has a lot of records that I personally care about, such as the latest Japanese music and rock!
On the upper right is a record of the Nagoya-based band orland.
The mellow and funk music produced by 2 synthesizers, 1 drum, and 1 talk box will make your fashion power fully open when you listen to it. Jokes aside, it's a very nice four-piece band that's getting a lot of attention right now.

Deployed in Nagoya, Okazaki, and Gifu
A major record store founded in 1981
"Banana Record"
It takes only a few minutes to walk from zoo. The next record store is Banana Records Osu.
Yellow Banareco Building! Look for the big banana and record.
Of all the stores, only this Osu store has two floors.
The first floor is mainly rock, soul and jazz, and the second floor is a club music floor with hiphop and R&B. The volume of stock is the largest among all Banana Records stores!
Looking for R&B, head to the 2nd floor!
The inside of the store is also yellow! Very cute. Records and CDs are all lined up.
Ryota is in charge of the second floor. Very knowledgeable about music! !
Today, Ryota told me a special recommended record!
Oh! It's selected!
He would love for you to listen to these two pieces: ......!
Recommended 2 records by Banana Records staff Ryota!
The first one.
In short, it's really cool!
A band unit under another name formed from the techno unit record label UNDER GROUND RESISTANCE, which is based in Detroit, USA.
With a jazzy taste, the sound is stylish, and somehow incorporates elements of Black music. It's a record that will surely impress not only those who like house and techno, but also those who don't. It's great if you listen to it loud.
And here is another one.
A singer-songwriter from Brazil. The title PREVISÃO DO TEMPO, which means "weather forecast", is said to be his masterpiece.
It is not on this record, but perhaps when you listen to his "summer samba," some of you will surely think you have heard it before. It is a very comfortable album to listen to.
Personally, I recommend "Os Ossos Do Barão" and "Tiu-Ba-La-Quieba". Check it out if you like bossa nova, samba, jazz and fusion.
Rather than just listening to songs I know or genres I like, it's fun to meet new songs and artists that broaden my musical horizons.
According to Ryota, music, like fashion, goes out of style, and the artists I love are a little less popular than they used to be. ......, but thanks to that, I was able to purchase a copy for an amazing 290 yen!
Timing is also luck in the record tour.
From the fans' point of view, the passion for the artist never fades, so there's nothing that makes me happier than this!
I was able to hear valuable stories and get a record.
Thank you Banana Records!
