The first point of this renewal is the "brand experience floor" on the first floor.

There is a wide range of content that allows you to experience the joy of music and musical instruments, such as events, special exhibitions, musical instrument experience corners, virtual orchestras, and workshops. Also selling original goods.

There is also a cafe attached, so it is a point that it is easy to visit!

Try to play an instrument! "Musical instrument experience corner"

Instrument experience corner

First, go to the "musical instrument experience" corner where you can experience Yamaha products!

A staff member with no musical instrument experience decided to try the acoustic guitar.

Instrument experience corner

A guide video is installed in the corner of each musical instrument. You can explain how to hold the guitar, how to make sounds, etc. very carefully, so even if you have no experience with musical instruments, it's okay!

If you don't understand, the staff will guide you.

Instrument experience corner

Within minutes of practice, I was able to play simple chords along with music.

Also try the cello! I was able to play a beautiful sound while watching the guide video.

The content that can be experienced is scheduled to be replaced sequentially. It's fun to see what kind of instrument you can try after visiting!

"Virtual Orchestra" where you can experience conducting

virtual orchestra

In the "virtual orchestra" where you can experience being a conductor, you can control the speed of the orchestra's performance projected on a large screen according to the movements of your hands.

I felt like I was a real conductor.

Original dorayaki is a specialty "cafe corner"

In addition to drinks such as specialty coffee and tea, you can also enjoy "original dorayaki" with the Yamaha logo.

Of course, you can also use only the cafe!

2nd floor: guitar, drums, synthesizer, music composing

The second floor is the floor for guitars, drums, synthesizers, and music production.

They have the largest lineup of Yamaha brand guitars in Japan. Drums, synthesizers, and stage pianos are also on display.

There is also a space on the floor where you can try out the guitar!

Acoustic drum test room

An acoustic drum test room with excellent soundproof performance has also been newly established.

I decided to try the drums. By actually experiencing it, you will be more interested in musical instruments. Drums are said to be a popular instrument even in music classes, as they are said to "release stress"!

music production corner

There is also a corner for music composition, which has been growing in popularity in recent years.

A demo system that combines music production equipment and software is on display. You can experience the process of making music. I was surprised that such complicated music could be created on a computer!

3rd floor: Piano, electronic piano, keyboard, soundproof room (Avitex)

On the 3rd floor, about 50 keyboard products are displayed, including pianos, electones, clavinovas, electronic pianos, and keyboards. Feel free to try popular interior pianos and popular hybrid pianos.

Demand for keyboards, in particular, is soaring as people spend more time at home, with some products waiting two to three months.

There is also an exhibition of the soundproof room "Avitex"! It is attracting attention that it can be used not only for playing musical instruments but also for remote work.
