On this day, the process of edgeline insertion was being carried out. The process of planting while stretching the silver wire was much more delicate than I had imagined.

First, choose what you want to make. From accessories such as brooches and pendants to nail clippers and hand mirrors.
This time, I will try the "Sea bream chopstick rest (¥ 1,500)"!
In the hands-on class, 17 colors of glaze will be used to apply the glaze.
Dots can be easily created by applying frit (glaze before powdering).
Using a "hose", scoop up the water-soaked glaze.
Stretch it to a thickness of about 1 mm. At first glance, it looks easy, but this process is very difficult! The color of the glaze will change before and after firing, so place the glaze while imagining how it will look after firing.
The sandy glaze doesn't quite extend as far as I would like. I realized how amazing the works on display that I had just seen were.
I am getting used to it little by little! Carefully and cautiously, making sure there are no gaps, because if the unglazed pottery is left visible, it will burn.
After about 30-40 minutes, the glazing is complete!
From here, the work is handed over to the staff! Sear them on the grill to dry them out.
Put it in the kiln and wait a minute or so.
It is now baked! And from here on, the color of the sea bream is the focus. (especially the scales)
It is becoming more and more purple. The color changes as the molten glaze slowly cools and becomes glassy.
The original cloisonne enamel ware is completed! You can take home your creations on the same day. Even children can experience it, so please give it a try.
