Feel like a jungle explorer! "Miracle Forest" opened in 2015

When I entered the building, I was wrapped in a damp and humid air.

This is the "Miracle Forest", a zone for creatures that live near the water, including amphibians and reptiles. Rare creatures such as giant aquatic turtles, richly colored poison dart frogs, and even cats that catch fish in the water are introduced.

Entering a cave, passing through a waterfall, it feels like a jungle expedition!

Fishing cats use their webbed front paws to skillfully catch fish at the water's edge. The Toba Aquarium is the first aquarium in Japan to exhibit them. If the timing is right, you may be able to see them eating fish.

You can also meet a lot of reptiles such as turtles, frogs and green iguanas! Even the powerful Mississippi crocodile is there.

Doctor Fish is a must-try experience in the Forest of Miracles!

A doctor fish with a rare ecology that eats the keratin of the skin. If you put your hand in it, it will bite your skin and eat the keratin. Tickling like an electric massage. It's very ticklish at first, but I gradually got used to it. The experience is free, so please try it!

The introduction is too nice! "Strange Creature Research Institute"

About 55 species and 300 creatures with strange shapes and ecology have been collected, and the name is "Strange Creature Research Institute". I can't stop being excited about the space that looks like a real research institute!

Right next to the entrance, you can see the giant beetle on display. The giant beetle weighs about 1,000g and is one of the world's largest pill bugs. There are still many mysterious creatures, and even in the aquarium, they sometimes stay in the same place for several days.

And the charm of "Strange Creature Research Institute" is the interesting introductory sentence. All of them are surreal and funny. I want to read all of them and I forgot the time, so please be careful (laughs)
