I actually tried glamping!

This time, I actually experienced glamping in two days and one night! We have camped in tents several times, but this is the first glamping experience for all of us.

14:00 Check-in

First, check in at the center house. (Check-in is until 18:00)

You will receive an explanation of how to use the facility, tableware, bedding, and BBQ ingredients.

Everyone was impressed by the interior that looks like a room! Building a tent is a lot of hard work. This is a safe option for women-only groups and those who are new to outdoor activities.

You don't need to set up a tent, so you can enjoy your free time as soon as you arrive.

Relax in a hammock.

Play catch with the gloves and balls rented out at the equipment warehouse.

It's often relaxing time until BBQ time. Only glamping can be enjoyed empty-handed, allowing you to spend a leisurely time like this.

The real pleasure of camping is outdoor cooking where you can enjoy eating together while feeling the nature outdoors. One of the attractions of Earthship glamping is that you can enjoy a full-fledged BBQ empty-handed!

First of all, we will give a lecture on how to use ingredients and equipment. The staff member Shu-chan was in charge of us this time.

The 4cm-thick steak, the centerpiece of American BBQ, is cut with a knife and seasoned with salt.

Drinks are not included, so bring your own. Also, it is OK to bring your own food. Please feel free to bring your favorite ingredients. Refrigerators and cooler boxes are also provided, so you can bring your own with confidence.

You can enjoy American BBQ other than meat and vegetables.

First of all, this is the "Chicken Burger", which is chicken teriyaki sandwiched between bread. Lettuce to sandwich is also prepared for hamburgers. The charcoal-grilled chicken is surprisingly juicy. I was thrilled to be able to enjoy an authentic burger so easily.

How, a BBQ stove is transformed into a pizza oven! “Shall we make pizza soon?” said the staff, and changed it to a pizza oven.

I made an original pizza by putting grilled meat, asparagus, onions, and tomatoes on the pizza dough. The types of vegetables change with the season. Freshly baked hot pizza is exquisite. It was fun to make it together with everyone!

I also made "cod and clams aquapazza" in a rented Dutch oven. Dutch ovens are heavy, so it's hard to bring them with you, but Earthship offers Dutch ovens of various sizes, so you can easily take on the challenge!

From 19:30 to "Japan's central hot spring Kodakara hot spring"

After finishing the BBQ, we went to “Japan Manchuan Onsen Kodakara no Onsen” which is about 10 minutes away by car. The spacious open-air bath was very comfortable. Please relax and heal your fatigue.

21:00~ Impressed by the starry sky

When I returned to the tent and suddenly looked up at the night sky, there was a sky full of stars. It's been a long time since I've seen so many stars in the sky. It's a pity that I can't tell you with a photo... This beauty can only be experienced locally. It is sure to impress!

The people on the site next door were also enjoying the bonfire and fireworks.

22:00~ Quiet time

After 22:00, it's quiet time. Refrain from talking loudly.

It was a hot day with temperatures over 30°C during the day, but at night it was a little chilly in short sleeves. The tent was very comfortable and we all had a good night's sleep.

8:00-morning breakfast time

For breakfast, I made a "hot sandwich" using a hot sandwich maker. The reason why you can spend such a leisurely time is because glamping is easy to clean up!
