Shunkado's sweets community "nicoe", famous for its "eel pie" | Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture
Located 20 minutes by car from the Hamamatsu Nishi Interchange on the Tomei Expressway, nicoe is a sweets community that was grand opened in 2014 after three years of planning by Shunkado, famous for its "eel pie", on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its "eel pie".
Nicoe has three stores: the Japanese/Western confectionery "Shunkado," the "Gokokuya" which conveys five grains, fermentation, and seasonal living, and the restaurant "THE COURTYARD KITCHEN". Other features include "Playground 082", a playground with educational toys for both adults and children, and a lush green courtyard, making it a place where visitors can relax and enjoy the day.

Kewpie Corporation is well known for its mascot character Kewpie. The company manufactures many products that are indispensable to our dining tables, such as mayonnaise and dressing, which are its signature products. Did you know that Kewpie also has a factory in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture? Of the eight factories in Japan, Kewpie's Koromo Factoru is the oldest.
In the open kitchen, you can learn about the history of Kewpie and the secrets of mayonnaise in an easy-to-understand manner by watching videos about mayonnaise and observing the mayonnaise and dressing production line. They also sell original goods and selected products!

"INAX Museum" is operated by LIXIL in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture, the city of pottery. This is a hands-on museum where you can experience the culture of tiles and pottery from around the world.
