A new hot spot has opened inside the Nagoya Noh Theater! Japanese food hall “hōsa”

[Nagoya Noh Theater] Japanese Food Hall "hōsa"

A Japanese food hall “hōsa” was born in Nagoya Noh Theater, the home of Nagoya Castle. It is a hot new spot that offers kaiseki cuisine, kishimen noodles, Japanese sweets, etc. as a “Shokurakudo” where you can enjoy the food culture of Nagoya for the next generation.

This time, we will introduce the charm of "Hōsa".

What is “hōsa”?

Yaohiko Honten has been popular as the kitchen of Nagoya since its establishment in the Edo period. ”Kasho Hana Kikyo” is a Japanese confectionery shop that has its roots as the confectioner of the Owari Tokugawa Family. “Nagomu Kashi Nakamata” has inherited the trade name of the fisheries industry that was founded in Atsuta and Miyajuku.

Hōsa, a Japanese food hall, was created by bringing together the three long-established brands with roots in Nagoya during the Edo period, which was ruled by the Owari Tokugawa Family.

Three areas are combined "Shokugakudo"

Starting with authentic kaiseki cuisine created by Chef Chikazawa, a master craftsman from Aichi, and in collaboration with Hoshigaoka Seimenjo, a long-established restaurant proposes a new kind of Nagoya soul food kishimen. In addition, you can enjoy a wide range of lineups, such as "Japanese Afternoon Tea", which has beautiful seasonal Japanese sweets displayed on a Nagoya castle-shaped stand, and warabi-mochi (bracken-starch dumpling) that is kneaded by craftsmen for each order.

Select shop "hōsa select"

The select shop “hōsa select” proposes a new daily life and lifestyle centered on food, based on the concept of “a food culture select shop”. With a Japanese theme, we have a line-up that delights the eye with new styles and designs that inherit the tradition and gems that shine with the skills of Nagoya's master craftsmen.
