​KANNON COFFEE, a popular coffee stand in Osu, Nagoya, has moved to Niomon-dori shopping street.

Kannon Coffee, which was born in Osu in 2014, is a shop where you can enjoy delicious coffee and sweets with the motto of "a coffee stand in the town". Currently, we have opened 4 stores in Nagoya Motoyama, Kanagawa, and Tokyo. Triggered by the 6th anniversary of the birth of the Osu main store, it was relocated and opened on July 1, 2020.

The concept of wanting to be a part of each person's daily life remains unchanged. We are proud to introduce Cannon Coffee, which has evolved while retaining the atmosphere of the previous store.

The location is Niomon-dori in Osu Shopping Arcade. A 4-minute walk from Nagoya Municipal Subway Osu Kannon Station, and a 5-minute walk from Kamimaezu Station. Look for the letters "KANNON COFFEE" on the white outer wall.

You can see the inside from the large entrance and windows, making it easy to visit even if you are alone.

The interior of the store, which is based on white and wood, has a bright and open feeling. The dine-in space has about 30 seats, including large table seats, bench seats, and single seats, so you can spend your time however you like.

In addition to coffee beans, the store also sells original tote bags and T-shirts. Drip bags and liquid café au lait bases are perfect as gifts.

We interviewed Ms. Uchisato, the store manager, about the concept of KANNON COFFEE and what he is particular about.

Ms. Uchisato:“I want to be close to each and every customer in their daily lives. Even on a busy day at work or school, we want to be a shop that fits into your everyday life, where you can drop by for a quick cup of coffee and a cup of baked goods and take a breath of relief."

– How did it change after the renewal?

Ms. Uchisato:“The previous store was mostly a stand-up restaurant, mainly for to-go, but the number of seats has tripled, making it easier to stay for a long time. There are also plenty of terrace seats.”

– The handwritten pop and illustrations are cute and fashionable.

Ms. Uchisato:"The blackboard display on the counter has the same atmosphere as before. The dried flower decorations are modest and the interior is simple so that anyone can enter easily."

Ms. Uchisato: "It's often said that it's hard to enter because it's fashionable, but that's not the case, and I want people of all ages to come. I'd be happy if people decide to go to KANNON COFFEE when they want a cup of coffee and some baked goods."

Ms. Uchisato: “The flavor you want to drink changes depending on your taste, the season, and the day, so we offer a well-balanced drink. We will listen to the flavor that the customer usually drinks and suggest a coffee that goes well with it, so please feel free to ask.”
