Dolphin Performance
in One of the Largest Pool in Japan

Well, it's finally time for the dolphin performance! (the show is about 20 minutes)

The main pool is 60m wide, 30m deep, and 12m depth of water. It has a stadium with a capacity of 3,000 people, and is one of the largest in Japan. The performance of the dolphins with a sense of speed is a masterpiece.

Taking advantage of the size of Japan's largest pool, the continuous jumps with a deep and sufficient run-up are impressive! A variety of performances unfold one after another.

Don't worry if you missed the jump because the pool is too big. On the large screen in front of the stadium, 3 cameras on the water and 1 camera in the water follow the movements of the dolphins, and you can enjoy real-time and replay images.

It is also recommended to enjoy it from the underwater! From the "Underwater Viewing Seats" directly below the stadium stand seats on the 3rd floor that I introduced earlier, you can see the dolphins running towards the jump. You can see a different appearance from the ground.

"Public Training of Killer Whales"

Next is the "Public Training of Killer Whales". This is also done in the main pool, just like the dolphins. (Time required: about 15 minutes)

Killer whales are known as the "King of the Sea", standing at the top of the food chain in the marine ecosystem. They can swim at a speed of 50 km/h, and their jumps that take their giant bodies into the air are spectacular.

There are only two aquariums in Japan where you can see killer whales, including Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium. The precious killer whales are a must-see!

After enjoying the public training, go to the shooting spot "Shachi (killer whale) Studio" on the 2nd floor of the North Building. Here, you can take pictures with both the camera you brought and the staff's camera.

Lunch at Restaurant "Arribada"

I'm getting hungry, so it's lunch time at the restaurant "Arribada" on the 2nd floor of the South Building!

There is a large water tank with a total length of 8 meters in the store, and you can enjoy your meal while looking at the colorful fish. Here you can taste the menu unique to the aquarium.

Actually, it's delicious! ! It looks like a refreshing white fish. I had a image of shark meat as hard and crunchy, but it was soft and very easy to eat.

Next is Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium limited special menu "Crocodile Confit". It looks like a crocodile indeed. It is quite an impact.

The taste you care about is ... a feeling of protein chicken. It has a unique flavor, but you can enjoy it deliciously by dipping it in the sauce that comes with it. A shark and a crocodile, a menu unique to an aquarium.

Of course, there are menus such as hamburgers, pasta, and tuna bowls, so don't worry.

By the way, there is also a food terrace "Tortoise" on the 3rd floor of the south building.
