– Please tell us how you opened the shop.

Ms. Kato: "I used to work as a nurse for many years, but I just love seeing people happy. When my family gets together on New Year's Day, I enthusiastically make and serve New Year's dishes. Seeing the families happily eating them, I came to feel that I wanted to make many people happy by eating what I provided.

So, about 5 years ago, I started preparing to open a store with my daughters to make my dream come true. At first, I was planning to set up two stores on this large piece of land: my store and the coffee specialty store "present coffee" that my daughters had originally run, but there was a change in the plan, and my daughter's coffee store was combined as the takeout department of the cafe I opened, and the current "Oniwa De... present coffee" was born.

Now, I am in charge of menu development, my eldest daughter is in charge of product sales and design, my second daughter is in charge of accounting, and my third daughter is in charge of coffee roasting. Everyone in my family plays a different role, and I feel very happy that we are all able to build the store together. "

– Please tell us about the origin of the store name “Oniwa De… present coffee”.

Ms. Kato:"From the beginning, I wanted to name the store 'Oniwa De...'. I wanted to make this large space in front of the shop a “garden: oniwa” for everyone who came.

Tree Terrace and Hill Park were created there. Tree Terrace is a place that was created by renovating the warehouse that was originally built. We hung swings and tables to create an exciting place not only for children but also for adults.

The park on the hill is a space where children can play to their heart's content. By making it a little higher, you can see the children perfectly from inside the store. There are many outside seats, so many people come with their pets.

The name of the restaurant was created with the hope that "everyone will spend this precious moment in this garden". "

Ms. Kato: "I think my experience as a mother and as a nurse helped me build the store. We installed a kids' room and diaper changing table, made the store barrier-free, and widened the aisles and toilets.
