[Nagoya] "REAL Style" Offers Solutions from Interior Accessories to Space and Urban Development

Founded in 2002. "REAL Style", which has its head office in Nagoya.

This is an interior store that values the unique Japanese aesthetic and sensibility of "high quality but not showy" and "simple but luxurious". The shop produces not only furniture, but also space and architecture in total.

For this interview, we visited the "REAL Style Main Store" to talk about the features and recommended products of Real Style.

What is "REAL Style"?

"REAL Style Main Store" is about a 3-minute walk from "Higashibetsuin" Station on the Meijo Subway Line.

At REAL Style, we select only the real thing from our original brands as well as excellent craftsmanship from Japan and overseas.

From the objects that touch our hands to the furniture, from the space that envelops it to the architecture, and from the creation of landscapes that define its environment. As a furniture, interior and housing manufacturer, REAL Style is unique in its total production of space creation, from coordination to the design and construction of homes.

Headquartered in Nagoya, it has seven stores in Tokyo, Sendai, and Kanazawa. There are three stores in the Tokai area: the main store, Nagoya Higashi store, and JR Nagoya Takashimaya store.

They also carry original brands. The concept is "to be genuine".

The original furniture that is particular about domestic production is characterized by a simple and modern design that makes use of the beautiful wood grain and texture. Materials such as wood, stone, and iron, whose texture increases with the passage of time, are used abundantly.

In the place immediately after entering the store, green is indispensable for the interior. It's laid out with the furniture, so it's easy to imagine the room.

Interiors such as lighting, rugs, and greenery are also substantial. They also handle interior goods such as tableware and fragrances, so it's perfect for choosing gifts!

There is also an exhibition of art works. The work changes from time to time, so you should be able to enjoy a different encounter each time you visit.

Next, go to the second floor.

If you visit the REAL style head office, please pay attention to the building. Built more than 90 years ago, it is said to have been renovated from a Western-style building built in the late Taisho period.

The second floor is lined with large pieces of furniture such as sofas, dining tables, and beds. Be sure to check the comfort of the sofas and chairs.

Another point is that there are many lighting exhibits. All of them are likely to be the accent of the room.

Next, go down the stairs to the basement floor.

Real style that can also produce wall furniture. On this floor you can see the wall storage in full size. You can also enjoy the aging of the door using leather.

And we also carry the world-renowned apparel brand "Comme des Garcons." The philosophy of "quality Japanese manufacturing in pursuit of authenticity" is the same as that of Real Style.
