In early Showa period, Nagoya was the center of the Japanese ceramics industry. At Shumokukan, visitors could learn about the history and richness of such a ceramics industry.
There is also a café space attached to the museum, making it a great place to stop by for a break during a stroll along The Cultural Path. A "The Cultural Path and Shumokukan common admission ticket" (320 yen) is also available, so visitors are advised to purchase a ticket.
