Akihasan Entsuji Temple protects you from fire-related disasters

"Akihasan Entsuji" next to "Atsuta Jingu" is also a shrine that is very beneficial, so we would like you to visit it as well.

It is affectionately known as "Akiba-sama" by the locals, and it is said that the god of fire, "Akiba Daigongen," protects from fire-related disasters. It is said that there are other benefits of "fortune, treasure, wisdom, and life extension".

If you have time, please visit Atsuta Shrine as well!

"Handmade soba tempura Naohito" where you can taste authentic soba

For lunch, we recommend Teuchi Soba Tempura Naohito, located next to Akihasan. It is one of the most famous restaurants in Nagoya that will impress soba lovers.

There are two types of lunch menus that change daily.

Nihachi soba where you can enjoy the original flavor of soba.

The handmade thicker soba (buckwheat) noodles, carefully made with buckwheat ground using a millstone, are exquisite. This is "Ebisu Tenzaru. It is a set of "kakiage" (deep fried prawns and scallops) and zaru soba noodles, named after the "Hatsuebisu" (first Ebisu festival) at Atsuta Shrine.

The crispy batter and the sweetness of the shrimp and scallops complement each other perfectly. We recommend adding salt.

If you want to eat delicious soba, please stop by!

"Shirotori Garden" that can be enjoyed throughout the four seasons

Let's go a little further to the "Shirotori Garden".

"Shirotori Garden" boasts the largest scale in the Chubu region. Based on the topography of the Chubu region, the artificial hill is likened to Mt. Ontake, the flow from it is likened to the Kiso River, and the pond into which the water flows is likened to Ise Bay. The theme of this garden is "the story of water" from the headwaters to the ocean.

Even though it's not far from Nagoya station, you can enjoy beautiful greenery and flowers.

In the vast garden, you can see the scenery of the headwaters created by waterfalls and gigantic rocks, the scenery of mountain streams with clear streams, and the maple leaves that cover the valley. You can feel the atmosphere of deep mountains and secluded valleys.

Seiu-tei is designed in the image of a swan swooping down. Seiu-tei is located near the center of Shirotori Garden, on the bank of the stream. Kyoto Sukiya carpenters and Owari carpenters cooperated to create a full-fledged Sukiya architecture using natural materials.

In the park, the cherry blossoms were at their best. The beautiful weeping cherry blossoms are a sight to behold. The charm of Shirotori Garden is that visitors can enjoy the seasonal beauty of the garden, with its many flowers in bloom throughout the year, autumn foliage, and snow-covered hanging trees.

You can also buy carp bait for 50 yen and feed them! This is more fun than you can imagine.

Surprisingly, we lost track of time and fed them.

Matcha set 600 yen

The park is quite large, so if you get tired of walking, take a break at Shioiri-tei. You can enjoy the scenery that changes with the tide in the garden that can be seen from the window.

Enjoying a cup of tea while looking out at the garden is such a luxurious feeling.

From now on, it will get warmer and warmer, so please take a walk and visit Shirotori Garden!
