Macy's Popular Menu Best5

Macy's gourmet food is packed full of the chef's passion. We asked the owner, Mr. Yamanaka, to tell us their top five most popular dishes.

No1 Chicken Over Rice

Chicken over rice (¥880)

The proud first place is "Chicken Over Rice".

In New York, it is a dish that can be eaten casually at street stalls, and avocado and tomato are added to make it a Japanese favorite. It is said that it was one of the menus that Mr. Yamanaka definitely wanted to incorporate when opening the shop. Excellent balance of chicken stir-fried with spices, turmeric rice, and vegetables. It is a very satisfying dish that you can eat meat and vegetables in one dish.

No2 Pepperoni Pizza

Pepperoni pizza is one of the most popular types of pizza. This is also one of the menus that Mr. Yamanaka definitely wanted to incorporate. Like chicken over rice, pepperoni pizza is also a fast food that can be easily eaten at street stalls in NY. Neapolitan pizza is the mainstream in Japan, but sometimes it's good to have a pizza with plenty of salami that looks like something out of an American movie.

No3 French fries

French fries are a staple menu item at Macy's. There are three flavors: Salt & Vinegar, Korean Beef, and Chili Garlic. Salt & vinegar is the most popular. You can't stop eating the crispy fried potatoes.

All-you-can-eat potato

For those who love potatoes, we recommend the “All-You-Can-Eat French Fries,” which is held only on weekdays. All-you-can-eat is 580 yen per person until 18:00 no matter what time you visit. If you have 2 or more people, the price will be lower according to the number of people, so if you are 4 people, it will be 380 yen per person. The highest record so far is said to be 10 servings. Please try the challenge.

No4 Mexican Burger

The most popular burger is the “Mexican Burger”. Burger with tomato, lettuce, onion, patty, avocado and lots of ingredients, accented with homemade salsa mince sauce.

Macy's uses "Osu Bakery" buns. Recently, many buns are hard, but these buns are very light and so easy to eat it all.

3 sliders (mini burger) (¥780)

For small children or those who are feeling a bit peckish, I recommend these mini "sliders," mini burgers measuring about 6 cm in length. Additional cost +180 yen each.

No5 Banana Shake

And "Banana Shake", which is popular with regulars, is ranked in. Because it uses plenty of banana and vanilla ice cream, it is very filling. There is also a seasonal menu such as "Autumn Nut Banana Shake".

Extra: Chocolate Mint Milk Mountain

And the "Chocolate Mint Milk Mountain" became so popular that Macy's is known for its "Choco Mint". In the summer, customers lined up outside the restaurant for the shaved ice. The shaved ice is only available during the summer, so be sure to visit next summer.

Macy's store

The menu introduced here is only a small part of the menu. There are also salads, pizzas, cakes, parfaits, and other dishes, all of which are generous in volume. The best thing about Macy's is its cozy atmosphere. As Mr. Yamanaka says, "I want both the staff and customers to enjoy themselves. From lunch to café to bar, you can enjoy Macy's any time of the day. Please visit Macy's.
