A must-see for Dragon fans! "Dragons Museum"
The "Dragons Museum" is a panel exhibition of the history of the Dragons in chronological order, with anecdotes and results of former star players presented in an easy-to-understand and humorous manner.
Fans will love the panels of past players, such as Motonobu Tanishige, who played in a total of 3,021 professional baseball games, Kenshin Kawakami, who supported the Dragons in the Heisei era, and Senichi Hoshino, who led the team to league victories both as a player and as a manager.
You can feel the difference between a softball and a hardball.
The museum's attraction is that visitors can learn about the players not only by looking at them, but also by touching them, such as by dropping a ball to see how amazing a slow curve is.
Recommended for families with small children! "Kids Area"
If you have small children, we recommend the Kids Area, which includes a ball pool (for ages 6 and up) and a Twisty Slide (for ages 4 and up).
The Twisty Slide is a slide for children aged 4 and over. Children will love the exhilarating feeling of climbing up a slightly steep staircase and sliding down.
It is a playground equipment that can be used to develop motor skills.
If you have small children with you, we recommend the ball pool. It is suitable for preschool children and allows them to play safely with soft balls.
It's full of fun, surrounded by colorful balls.
"Attraction Area" - Have fun and experience for yourself!
The "Attraction Area" is extremely popular with children.
It's a fun, hands-on experience, so on match days there are queues in each area.
First, let's try out the "Speed Ball Challenge."
Aim firmly and throw in! In my first attempt, I recorded 33 km/h. Baseball is fun!
Each person can try twice, so take turns with your friends to try it out.
Next up is the "Swing Speed Challenge."
A countdown of 3, 2, 1 will be displayed, so swing at the right time towards Doara (Dragons' mascot character) standing on the mound.
Your speed will be displayed as you swing. It will be measured twice and the better result will be ranked, so do your best and aim to get ranked.
In both the "Speed Ball Challenge" and "Swing Speed Challenge," rankings (3 categories: male, female, and junior high school students or younger) are displayed. It would be fun to compete with your child.
Please try and aim for the ranking.
Check out the "Outfield Fence Experience Corner," which is a reproduction of the outfield fence of Nagoya Dome. You can actually jump and feel how high and soft it is while feeling like an outfielder.
Under your feet is the artificial turf that is actually used in baseball stadiums. Samples of past artificial turf varieties are displayed on the walls, so feel free to touch them to see how they feel.
You can also take commemorative photos in the "Fan Area"!
In the fan area, there is a dedicated counter for the official Dragons fan club and a photo spot where visitors can enjoy taking commemorative photos.
At the FC counter, you can register to join the fan club and exchange your Dragons FC points earned through the attendance points service for special items.
Doara's "Welcome" poseis a popular photo spot. Why not take a photo with your family to commemorate your visit?
There are five television monitors inside Dragons World, so you can enjoy the game without missing out on any action.
Why not stop by to kill time before a game or to give your children a change of pace?
If you get tired, take a break at the food court "Taiko Yokocho"!
Next to Dragon's World is the food court "Taiko Yokocho."
Taiko Yokocho is a food court space where you can enjoy a leisurely meal inside the dome. This space also has monitors installed, so you can watch the game progress while you eat.
A home run roll from Chitaumi, a popular gourmet sushi restaurant in Taiko Yokocho.
The thick roll sushi with conger eel and shrimp is famous.
It is one of the famous gourmet foods of the Vantelin Dome, so please try it when you visit the ballpark.
