For a short break, we recommend the rest house “Fruit Park Terrace” which was reopened in February 2019! You can enjoy daily lunches and sweets made with seasonal fruits.

The interior, which was designed as part of a Kinjo Gakuin University special project, has a natural atmosphere, with wooden apple boxes and nuts from the garden. Terrace seating is also available during the cooler months.

Kinso-dori jumbo chicken cutlet set meal

We actually tried having lunch there.

This is "Kinso-dori jumbo chicken cutlet set (¥980)". Kinsodori is a brand of chicken produced in Aichi Prefecture, which is characterized by its low fat content and moderately chewy meat. The crunchy texture is irresistible. Mini fruits are also included, and the volume is perfect!

pear parfait

This is "Pear Parfait (¥700)". Plenty of juicy pears! There is a pear puree underneath, and it goes well with ice cream. The fruits change depending on the season, so you can enjoy a different taste each time you visit. (*The price varies depending on the fruit)

pancake

Plenty of seasonal fruits in fluffy pancakes!

Learn, buy and taste the fruits!
"Fruit Museum" & "Fruit Park Marche"

Fruit Park Marche (stand)

Next, go to the Fruit Museum & Fruit Park Marche (shop).

fruit tree sapling

Fruit tree saplings were sold at the entrance. This is a banana seedling. Recently, many people grow fruit trees in their gardens and balconies. It's fun to have fruit at home.

The store sells seasonal fruits, vegetables, processed fruit products, and souvenirs. The morning market is held every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 12:00!

Fruits harvested in the garden were also sold. Local production for local consumption!

Cut fruits ¥400

At the fruit bar inside the store, you can enjoy freshly squeezed juice and hearty cut fruits. Take-out is also available, so eating outside while relaxing is also recommended!

If you're lucky, you might be able to meet Ao-chan, a gray heron!
