Aichi Kenko no Mori Park (Aichi Health Forest Park), located in Obu City, Aichi Prefecture, which is close to Nagoya, is a very large green park. Playground equipment that children love, such as net playground equipment, sliders, and Tarzan ropes, is dotted on the site that makes use of the hilly land.

In the lawn square, you can enjoy your favorite games such as badminton and jump rope as well as picnics. The new combination playground equipment in the large lawn square is also very popular.

The Health Road has playground equipment where you can stretch and measure your physical strength, so it would be nice to try it out with your family and friends.

The view from a high place is also outstanding. There is also a waterfront such as a pond and a biotope, and we are sure you will be healed by the relaxed atmosphere.

Administration building area

A very large Aichi Health Forest. We will divide the report into three main areas: "Administration Building Area", "Children's Forest", and "Large Lawn Square".

If you want to play around the administration building or in the children's forest, we recommend the second parking lot with good access! First, let's start with the area around the administration building.

If you pass through the tree-lined road from the second parking lot, you will find the administration building, so let's get the park map and event information first! On the day of our visit, a pre-registration-only wildlife observation event was being held at the "Valley of Creatures."

Unique to hilly areas! "Sansan Hiroba" with a nice view

Sansan Hiroba is a sloping lawn that extends southeast from the administration building. The view is very good and it is full of openness.

Long sliders that take advantage of the slopes of the hills are popular! It is a complex playground equipment with Tarzan rope. Enjoy the feeling of speed from a hill.

Children find the net tunnels of the net playground equipment, which looks like a secret base, interesting. There was also a slide, and they climbed up and down many times.

The large lawn overlooking the Pond of Life has shade here and there, so it's a great place to have a picnic with your children.

"Grass Square" with a lot of playground equipment

The plaza on the southwest side of the administration building had a newly installed compound playground equipment and Tarzan rope, and was crowded with many children.

The rail-type Tarzan rope that looks like a roller coaster is a type you don't often see anywhere else. Centrifugal force works and it shakes big, so it's a thrill and it's addictive.

Let's enjoy activities "in front of the administration building"

"I'm definitely going to ride in the 'battery car'!" sais my older son, and drove the police car of his dreams.

"It looks difficult, but I want to try 'Segway'!" said my daughter, a 3rd grader. She was taught well and was able to ride it right away. It was so much fun that she said she wanted to ride it more and would definitely ride it again! 

On weekends and holidays, there are also trampolines, kitchen cars, and occasional street performances. It is recommended that you contact them in advance, as it may be canceled due to weather or other factors.

"Fragrance Path" where you can enjoy herbs and flowers

A small path that makes you want to take a leisurely walk. Spend a relaxing time wrapped in the scent of herbs.

Children's Forest

To reach the Children's Forest from Parking Lot 2 or the plaza in front of the Administration Building, cross the "Treasure Bridge" as it is across the road.

Near the entrance, we found an exciting 3D map! There are different areas of playground equipment in the forest shaded by trees, so you won't get lost if you check out the map.

Even small children can play to their heart's content! "Small Town"

Small children can enjoy the playground equipment to the fullest in peace. The hammock-like net swing is very comfortable. It is very rare. We had to wait for our turn.

Please take a look at what is going on inside the mouth of the hippopotamus. It seems that elementary school students have also learned. There are fossil-like marks on the bouldering playground equipment, and it is fun to find them.

"Slope playground equipment" where the slope of the hill became playful

Slope playground equipment that makes use of the height difference. You can enjoy climbing and descending in various ways.

There is an observatory near the playground equipment on the slope, so you can take a break while enjoying the scenery.

"Long Slider" that slides down in the forest

If you go to the back from the small town, there is a tunnel. Feel like an adventurer! After going through the tunnel, there are three long sliders that thread through the forest and playground equipment that allows you to enjoy the difference in elevation.

Among them, here is the long slider with the highest height difference. Lines can form on weekends.

Since it is a tube, it is safe for small children.

Climbing up again was no problem! The children were having so much fun that they slid again and again without taking a break.

Suspension bridge over the valley "Catwalk"

A long slider is running at your feet. It's exciting to shake a little, but it's fun! Let's walk softly like a cat.

A combination of net play equipment and jungle gym. The slightly difficult parts were interesting, and the children tried again and again.

Use your hands and feet to climb! "Slope climbing"

Let's enjoy climbing while thinking about where to place your feet with the rope in your hands! After climbing, what will you do next?

"Zile Climbing" and "Wood Circuit"

Can you climb to the top? It's a little scary, but the feeling of accomplishment when you reach the top is exceptional.

A wood circuit that makes you want to start running anyway. Add speed and enjoy ups and downs and slopes!
