Enjoy the city of Okazaki from different angles
– What is the meaning behind the name ANGLE?
Mr. Iida: "I believe that inns have a role to play in the media. The reason I started this project is because I wanted to convey the deep charm of the city. I thought the name should be something cut from the original camera shop, and since we went to the trouble of renting this building, I thought it would be interesting to name it after a camera term with the image of taking over the land."
Mr. Iida: "There is a word 'angle' in the camera terminology. By changing the angle, we conveyed the town from a slightly different point of view, and on the contrary, we wanted visitors to enjoy the town from their point of view. ”
Mr. Iida: "Also, there are two types of angles: high angle and low angle. High angles are the viewpoints of people from the outside, who enjoy the city from their perspective. A low angle is from a local's point of view, so you can enjoy the city from their point of view. When both perspectives are combined, something very interesting is born! So we designed the logo to combine the viewpoints from above and below.
- What is your outlook for the future?
Mr. Iida: "Many locals come to stay with us, which makes me very happy. We also have a bar that is open only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and we want to make it a place where not only people from far away can come, but also locals can wander in."
Mr. Iida recommended!
