We heard a good rumor that there is a soul food that is loved by local fishermen, so we came to the Japanese restaurant "Yangaya". You can enjoy sushi made with fresh local seafood and ramen with homemade soup.

The restaurant has counter seats, large tatami mats, and table seats, with a total of about 50 seats. You can relax comfortably even with your small children. Around noon, more and more locals came to the restaurant and enjoyed the familiar taste of everyone.

This is the "sushi half set (¥1,300)". Most of the regular customers order this set. Traditional ramen that hasn't changed since its founding is also popular. The homemade soup has a slightly sweet taste that makes you feel nostalgic even though you may have eaten it for the first time.

The tuna in the assorted sushi is Ise tuna! "I want people to enjoy the local taste, so I'm prepared to make a loss," says the owner. I thoroughly enjoyed the local taste.

And the hidden specialty is this katsudon (cutlet bowl)! Yangaya's katsudon is called "Katsu (win) don (donburi)" and is said to be eaten by some locals for good luck during important business negotiations and competitions.

The cutlet and egg with the dashi soup is irresistible. It's been a long time since I ate such a delicious katsudon.
