Suzuka Forest Garden "Weeping Plum Festival"|Suzuka City

Suzuka Forest Garden is engaged in research and cultivation of "Kureha-shidare," a representative double-flowered variety. Kureha-shidare is one of the first to bloom in early spring with many large peach-colored flowers, and its large, beautiful, and glossy "weeping" appearance is a sight to behold.

At Anpachi Baien, the Anpachiume Festival is held from late February to mid-March. There are more than 1,200 plum trees of more than 100 types at Anpachi Baien, making it one of the largest in Japan in terms of variety.

The early-blooming Kankobai and Tsuki-no-katsura start in late January, while the late-blooming Kaiunbai and Rinkobai end in late March.
