The scenery of Nagoya that can only be seen from the water. We have boarded the "Cruise Nagoya"!

"Cruise Nagoya" is a water bus that operates from the Nakagawa Canal to the Port of Nagoya and Kinjo Wharf area. Many of you may have seen colorful boats.

Convenient access to popular spots such as Legoland Japan, Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium, and Sasashima Live! Not only that, but the scenery of Nagoya that can only be seen from the water is also a big attraction.

This time we have boarded the cruise Nagoya, so we will fully deliver its charm!

Let's go then.

What is Cruise Nagoya?

The Nakagawa Canal was once called the grandest canal in the East. It has contributed greatly to Nagoya's economic development as a water transportation and logistics artery. "Cruise Nagoya" was launched in 2017 to revitalize the Nakagawa Canal and create a lively atmosphere at the Port of Nagoya.

The cruise connects the "city center" of Nagoya with the "port area" and allows passengers to enjoy unusual views of Nagoya, such as "Sasashima Live" overlooking the buildings of Nagoya Station, the "Nakagawa-guchi Tsutenmon" where you can experience the Panama Canal, traditional warehouses, and large ships coming and going at the Port of Nagoya.

Route & Fares

Cruise Nagoya's ferry terminals are "Sasashima Live" located at Horidome, near Sasashima Live Station on the Aonami Line, "Canal Resort" with hot spring facilities, "Minato Acres" adjacent to the large commercial facility "Lalaport", "Garden Wharf" at the Port of Nagoya, "Bluebonnet" and "Kinjo Pier".

Starting from "Sasashima Live"!

This time, we are leaving for "Garden Wharf" from "Sasashima Live"!

Since we made a reservation in advance, we can pick up our ticket at the boarding ticket counter. You can also purchase tickets on the day of your visit, but if you want to be sure of getting on the boat, make a reservation in advance.

The Sasashima Live boarding area is ahead of the park south of the Global Gate. It is located in the open space under the elevated Nagoya Expressway.

There are benches in front of the Nakagawa Canal so that visitors can take a break while looking at it.

New Vessel "Super Comet" with New Outdoor Deck

This time, we will board the new ship "Super Comet".

This 45-passenger vessel is wheelchair-accessible. An outdoor deck has been newly installed, allowing passengers to enjoy the scenery outside while on board.

The wheelchair boarding space has a high ceiling, so you don't feel oppressive.
Up to 3 wheelchairs can be boarded.

The ship is spacious. If you would like to learn about the history of the Nakagawa Canal as you board the ship, a guide you can listen to is also available on board.

After taking the temperature, disinfect with alcohol before boarding.
