"Luxury Capsule Hotel Anshin Oyado Premier Nagoya Sakae Store (hereinafter referred to as Anshin Oyado)" opened in Sakae, Nagoya in December 2019. It is attracting attention as a capsule hotel with a new sensation that overturns the image of the past.
The appeal of Anshin Oyado is that over 200 types of services are free, including hot springs, saunas, breakfast, and drinks!
This time, I enjoyed Anshin Oyado for two days and one night!

Here I'm at Anshin Oyado!
The location is conveniently accessible, about a 3-minute walk from Sakae Station on the Higashiyama and Meijo subway lines. It is easy to visit as a base for sightseeing or for telework during work.
Proceed through the entrance, which looks like a Balinese resort, there is the front desk! Let's change into slippers at the shoe box and check in.
You can choose from a variety of plans, including a 24-hour stay plan, a nap plan, a bath-only plan, and a co-working space-only plan.

I was nervous because it was my first time in a capsule hotel, but there were female staff and they guided me very politely.
The hotel is divided into 11 floors from 1F to 11F.
Another Balinese-style elevator takes you to the locker room on the 5th floor!
Large Luggage can be Stored! Locker Room
Change into hotel clothes and relax. Put your luggage in a locker.
For large luggage that cannot fit in the locker, please go to the large luggage space. A wire key is available at the front desk.
By the way, going out is allowed 24 hours a day, so you can leave your large luggage in the locker and go out!
The women's locker room is also equipped with a powder room.
There is also a full line of personal grooming items, such as a cloth roller and deodorant spray. Anshin Oyado was very well stocked with such items that we wish we had.
Relax in the "Nishiki Lounge in the Sky" on the Top Floor
I decided to visit the Nishiki Lounge of the Sky (shared floor for men and women) on the top floor!
It is a spacious free space. Soft drinks and coffee are available 24 hours a day. Co-working facilities are also available, so you can even work remotely here.
It was OK to bring in food and drinks, so everyone was able to enjoy their time as they pleased.
I actually tried working remotely here, and the Wi-Fi was fast and comfortable.
De-stress with the Hot Spring and Sauna!
"Artificial Hot Spring, Nishikino-yu"
Next, we went to the hot spring, Nishiki no Yu.
The hot water at Anshin Oyado is an artificial hot spring. They use an ore called "Togoal Warmtite" produced in the Kajiomata hot spring in Niigata Prefecture.
A spacious powder room is located just outside the entrance. You can take your time to take care of your skin and make up.
What a surprise! In one corner of the changing room, there is a private bedrock bath! (Women-only service)
It is a luxury to be able to enjoy bedrock baths 24 hours a day. Since it is a private room, you can relax without worrying about being seen.
Private shower rooms are equipped too. (Women-only service)
Finally, I went to the large bath!
Here you can find another thoughtfulness of Anshin Oyado. Many kinds of shampoos are available! There are so many different shampoos to choose from. You can use your favorite shampoo, or try a different one. It is fun to be able to choose.
Here is an artificial hot spring using Togoal Warmtite.
Although the hot spring is artificial, it contains minerals that are as good as those in real hot springs. After soaking slowly, my body began to feel warm and fluffy.
Once you are thoroughly warmed up, go to the dry sauna.
The women's bath is equipped with a retractable heater. The room temperature is mild (80-82°C), but the humidity is moderate, warming the body slowly from the core. Inside the sauna, there is a Tonttu stone, and I felt the love for saunas.
The water bath is also mild temperature, at around 19°C, so even sauna beginners can safely enter.
By the way, if you are not fond of water baths, a lukewarm shower of about 30°C is effective enough.
Take a break in the rest area. After repeating the sauna - water bath - rest cycle for about three sets, you will feel refreshed both physically and mentally!
By the way, the men's bath has a Finnish "iki" sauna stove with auto loyly (throwing water on hot stones in sauna)!
