"Arbo hana.midori.kurashi" (hereinafter referred to as "arbo") is a botanical shop run by custom house "CLASIS HOME" group. This is a flower shop that offers ornamental plants, fresh and dried flowers, and miscellaneous goods related to daily life to help you live a more comfortable life.
Kasugai is a place that is not very convenient for transportation, but many people come from far away every day in search of arbo's flowers.
In this issue, we will bring you a view of the world of Arbo.
The location is Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture, about 30 minutes by car from central Nagoya. Adjacent to CLASIS HOME.
The interior is designed to look like a house where a couple who love plants live.
The concept of Arbo is "a house that make you think of a forest." The interior of the store is designed to resemble "a house where a plant-loving couple lives," and each space has its own story, such as a bathtub and cupboards are placed.
Gentle light streams in from the large windows, creating a soft atmosphere.
The interior of the store, which looks like a room, not only makes it easy to match greenery and fresh flowers, but also serves as a reference for interior design.
Mainly fresh flowers that become dried flowers
Ms. Sakai, the store manager who spoke with us this time. The flowers selected by manager Sakai's sense of taste include rare flowers that are not often seen in other shops.
- What are the characteristics of arbo's flowers?
Manager Sakai: "Basically, we try to stock many of Arbo's flowers that can be dried. We have many customers who want to enjoy them as fresh flowers and then turn them into dried flowers, rather than purchasing them as dried flowers from the start."
On the day I visited, a lot of spring flowers such as mimosa and cherry blossoms were in stock.
Just looking at the colorful flowers will heal you.
− When changing fresh flowers to dried flowers, how long should they be dried?
Manager Sakai: "To make beautiful dried flowers, it is important to turn them upside down before they open. By drying them while they are still as fresh as possible, the color and shape will be beautiful."
