at the entrance
The golden Chibi Maruko-chan statue welcomes you!

We came to "Chibi Maruko-chan Land"!

At the entrance, a gold Chibi Maruko-chan statue welcomes you. It is said that it is the cover pose of the first volume of the book.

The cute wall pattern is based on the geometric pattern that Momoko Sakura loved. It was created by Kanako Nomura, the art director of the anime Chibi Maruko-chan.

Maru-chan appeared at nice timing. In the same pose as the statue, cheese!

Check the official website for the schedule of Maru-chan's appearance and photo session.

"Chibi Maruko-chan Land"
Full report on how to enjoy

The building is divided into three zones.

・"Maruko's daily life" zone
・"Full of dreams" zone
・"Maruko's dream amusement park" zone

First, let's go to the "Maruko's daily life" zone!

A realistic feeling as if you were in the anime! "Sakura family's daily life 4-frame theater"

The Sakura family's daily life 4-frame theater that realistically reproduces each room of the Sakura family. There are four rooms, and you can enjoy reading a four-panel comic.

Feel like you've stepped into the world of anime! Please enjoy taking pictures.

Are you classmates with Maru-chan? ! "The classroom of 3rd grade, class 4"

Let's go to the elementary school that Maru-chan attends along the school route.

Classmates line up at the entrance! Blood type and personality are also written.

There are classmates' slippers in the shoe box!

It was a lot of fun to open it, thinking, "Who is this?" Please look for Maru-chan's indoor shoes.

The classroom of the elementary school that Maru-chan attends is realistically reproduced in the 3rd grade and 4th class classrooms. The piano that Momoko Sakura actually used is also on display.

Pretend to be Class 3-4 classmates, cheese!

"Chibi Maruko-chan Land" is full of spots that make you want to take pictures.

"Chibi Maruko-chan Theater Room" showing nostalgic anime works

Next, go to the Chibi Maruko-chan Theater Room.

Nostalgic anime from the past is being screened. Screenings change regularly, so please look forward to what you can see!

Take a commemorative photo with Maru-chan and Tama-chan! "Park"

In the "park", you can take a commemorative photo with Maru-chan and Tama-chan sitting on the bench!

Maru-chan's secret base!

A lot of valuable materials! "Sakura Momoko Museum"

If you like Maru-chan, you should definitely check out the Sakura Momoko Museum.

Valuable materials such as personal items, hand-drawn illustrations, and anime cels that were carefully used by the original author, Momoko Sakura, are on display.

Such precious personal belongings!

The pen stand used by Momoko Sakura before her debut. It is said that it has been used to hold pens since school days. The geometric patterns and colors are typical of Momoko Sakura.

Unique omikuji are very popular! "Chibi Maruko-chan Shrine"

Next, go to "Chibi Maruko-chan Shrine".

The popular "Omikuji" is completely drawn by Momoko Sakura in both illustration and content! We would like to pull it right away.

This time it's "Choi kichi"!

It gives you a warm and positive feeling, such as "a little nice person appears" or "a little good result." It is a great way to commemorate your visit.

Experience the world of anime openings! "Full of Dreams" Zone

Next, let's go to the "Full of dreams" zone!

This is a zone where you can experience the world of the 1990 anime broadcast's first opening theme, "Yume Ippai".

The background music was, of course, "Yume Ippai" (full of dreams). I couldn't help but feel nostalgic, thinking, "I used to love this song."

There are plenty of photo spots such as "Maruko and the ship floating in the starry sky" and "Maruko and the traveling camel", so please enjoy taking pictures!

"Maruko's dream amusement park" zone

"Chibi Maruko-chan Land" renewed in 2020.

Among the renovations, the most noteworthy is the Maruko's Dream Amusement Park Zone. You can enjoy projection mapping using animation newly created for this time.

Projection mapping will be projected on the Mt. Fuji object to the tune of "Odori Ponpokorin." (Projection mapping: once every 10 minutes)

Stay tuned for seasonal videos!

The "Maruko and Roller Coaster Object" next to the Mt. Fuji object reproduces the roller coaster that appears in the opening. Please take a picture with the same pose as Maru-chan!

Very popular with children! "Sand Painting Experience Corner"

There is also a "sand painting experience corner" in the free zone! (Suna-e: 500 yen (tax included))

This is a sand coloring page that is made by dividing colorful sand on a sticker mount. The children were immersed in the experience.
