Dahlia Cosmos Festival
"Nabana no Sato (Nagashima Town, Kuwana City)"

“Nabana no Sato” holds the “Dahlia Cosmos Festival” every year.

This is an event unique to this season, with 1.5 million cosmos and 32,000 dahlias of 8,000 plants of 200 varieties, including a 'super giant flower (30-40 cm) the size of your face, blooming in a vast flower bed of approximately 43,000 m2 called "Hana Hiroba".

Using fallow rice fields
"Cosmos of Toin Town (Toin Town, Inabe District)"

On the west side of Chubu Park in Toin Town, you can enjoy a cosmos field that utilizes fallow rice paddies. About 2 million colorful cosmos will be in full bloom. On a fine day, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the Suzuka Mountains. It is a delight to the eyes of visitors.

Along Milk Road on Prefectural Route 140, cosmos fields utilizing fallow rice paddies in Komono Town are filled with colorful pink, white, red, yellow, orange, and chocolate-colored cosmos.

Among them, the chocolate-colored cosmos has a chocolate scent. You may also see rare cosmos with green flowers. The language of flowers is "a maiden's sincerity", "purity" and "affection".

Hijiki Cosmos Festival (Iga City)

The Hijiki Cosmos Festival is held every year in the Hijiki district of Iga City. The festival has been canceled due to the corona crisis, but it is possible to visit (in 2022). A colorful cosmos carpet of red, white, and pink colors the rural landscape of the area and attracts visitors.

The romance of nature and Manyo drifts
"Tokotome no Sato Ichishi (Tsu City)"

Tokotome no Sato Ichishi, a center for welfare, health, and educational activities, is located in Ichishi-cho, Tsu City, a place of nature and the romance of Manyoshu. Outside, there is a putting golf course and a park as a relaxing place to commune with nature, where cosmos in autumn and sunflowers in summer are in full bloom.

There is also a bathing facility "Ichishi Onsen Yasuragi no Yu" that uses abundant water and high quality hot springs, so it is perfect for outings!

It is a cosmos field in Nishitomitacho, Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture. If you drive from Suzuka to Kameyama on Route 25, you will see a cosmos field in the middle of the rice field. You can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring and cosmos in autumn. There are few people, so it is a little-known spot.
