Mr. Shibuya, the owner, said that he was attracted to this property because of its large windows, and the property that he liked happened to be in Osu.

However, the reason why it continues to be loved by the highly sensitive customers who gather in the city of Osu is probably because there was a space full of taste surrounded by furniture and miscellaneous goods selected by the owner himself.

I want to create a “universal” store

The reason for the stylish space, which is hard to believe that 20 years have passed, is the desire of the owner, Mr. Shibuya, to create a universal shop.

This Savignac poster is impressive along with the bright large windows.

This is the symbol of what the owner considers "universal" beauty. Savignac was a French poster painter active in 1950, and his famous works are still loved even after more than 50 years. "eric-life cafe" was born out of the desire to create a cafe that would be loved forever.

The owner's desire, which he has held for 20 years, has become a reality and continues to be loved without fading away at all.

Next, we will introduce “cafe molly” on the second floor.

It also opened in 2011, so it's surprising that it's been about 10 years. The name "molly" is an acronym for "moment of lucky life, yes!"

The bright interior, with sunlight streaming in through the same large windows as on the first floor, has a slightly different atmosphere from that of the first floor, and even first-time visitors will feel at home here. The wood-grain furniture and interior decor were selected by the owner himself.

Also pay attention to the interior of the store!

You didn't ask a professional designer? I asked him, "Well, I don't. Someone has to do it. I only do it by myself because someone else has to do it," said the owner, Mr. Shibuya. I think many of our customers refer to the interior design of our store as a reference.

There are also "toys" here and there in the store, which you are free to use, and the mysterious coziness of the store, where time seems to flow at a leisurely and relaxed pace, is probably due to such considerations of the store.

And the cute animals on both the first and second floors are eye-catching. They are actually slips of paper. The store's thoughtfulness in not putting the slips on the table is also very impressive!

One of the most popular omurice is “Tom Yum Goong Omurice”.

Tom yum kung and omurice are an unexpected combination, but the taste is addictive. It seems to be very popular among the staff!

Rice with plenty of tom yum kung flavored shrimp in the tom yum goong rice. The surface of the omelet rice is served with coriander and tom yum kung flavored sauces. The rich and moist omurice goes perfectly with the refreshing sauce.

During the winter season, demi-glace and cheese-heavy omelet rice are popular, but this tom yum kung is popular regardless of the season.
