First in Mie Prefecture. "Forest Adventure Yunoyama," an outdoor park in the forest that adults can also enjoy!

Nature symbiotic outdoor park "Forest Adventure Yunoyama" opened in Komono Town, Mie Prefecture on March 16, 2019!

The "Zip Slide" is over 100m long, and the "Tarzan Swing" where you jump off from a height of about 10m. An outdoor park where you can enjoy thrills, exhilaration, and a sense of accomplishment in the extraordinary space of a forest.

What is Forest Adventure?

Forest Adventure is a "nature symbiosis outdoor park" originating in France. Developed by the French company Altus, Forest Adventure was created in 1997 as a corporate training facility. The enjoyment of the park spread outside the company and it was opened to the public, and now there are more than 250 facilities in Europe and other parts of the world. In Japan, the first park opened in August 2006 in a forest 1,100 meters above sea level at the foot of Mt. Fuji.

In "Forest Adventure," you climb up to a platform, which is placed 2 to 15 meters above the ground in a natural stand of trees. From there, visitors enjoy an aerial walk to another tree, and then zip-slide down to the ground!

We actually experienced it!

The location is about 6 minutes from Shin-Meishin Expressway Komono IC. In the case of train, it is about a 10-minute walk from Kintetsu Railway "Yunoyama Onsen Station".

Bears and owls made with chainsaw art welcome you. There are many such photo spots in the park.

There is also a changing room, so you can change clothes on site!

To bring you the fun of Forest Adventure as realistically as possible, our staff actually took on the challenge this time.

Forest Adventure has four courses: "Adventure Course", "Discovery Course", "Canopy Course" and "Kids Course". Here at Yunoyama, you can experience what is said to be the most thrilling “Adventure Course”.

First, wear a harness at the reception

When you arrive at the park, first go to the reception.

Check and sign the notes and participation pledge. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes (no sandals or heels).

4th grade elementary school student or height 140cm or taller and weight 130kg or less
*If you are under 18 years old, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18 years old or older) (High school students do not need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, but must fill out a pledge form and be chaperoned from the ground)

At the reception desk, you can find clothing for sale and shoes for rent.

The staff will ask you to put on a harness (safety belt). You will not be able to go to the restroom when wearing the harness, so please make sure you have done so beforehand.

Forest adventure original gloves ¥ 300

It is recommended that you wear gloves as you will have to hold on to cables and ropes in the park. Wear your gloves and you're ready!
