"Hisaya Odori Garden Flarie" - an urban oasis that appears in the city of Sakae
Table of Contents
"Flarie" is located at the southernmost end of Hisaya Odori Garden. On September 27, 2014, it was reopened from the "Orchid House". This is a little-known spot where you can enjoy a full-fledged garden all year round, even though it is free.
The name "Flarie" is a coined word of "Furari" (casually/drop-in) + "Flower" + "Atelier", meaning "an atelier full of flowers where you can stop by casually". As the name suggests, it is an oasis in the city where you can forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
This time, we will be introducing the charm of Flarie in detail.
To get to Flarie, exit Yabacho Station at Exit 4 and walk for about 5 minutes.
A flower zone divided into six themes

At Flarie, where many flowers bloom throughout the year, you can enjoy a variety of flowers in six different areas.
(1) Entrance Garden
When you enter the main gate, mimosa, which is popular as a dried flower, and trees arranged symmetrically on the left and right welcome you.
It's not blooming at the moment, but in the spring the yellow fruits color the entrance.
(2) Crystal Garden
The Crystal Garden greenhouse, located on the west side of Flarie, is a large space where you can enjoy large ornamental plants and flowers that bloom throughout the seasons.
Inside the greenhouse you'll also find Flarie 's mascot character, the flower fairy "Flala-chan."
The park regularly holds events such as "Rose Festa" and "Tropical Water Lily Festa" where you can encounter new flowers, free concerts such as "Meifil Machikado Concert", and "Summer School" where many families participate during the summer vacation.
"Western orchid exhibition" was held on this day. In addition, live performances, classes such as flower arrangement, gardening, and botanical art are held regularly.
It was Halloween season when we visited, so there were pumpkin ghosts and photo spots everywhere. Very high quality!
There is also a photo space in the greenhouse! Here too, we were able to take pictures. The only thing I think about wearing a hat like this is "(I hate Slytherin... I hate Slytherin, preferably Gryffindor...)"
Let's go to the next one~!
(3) Harmony Garden
Harmony Garden is in front of the pond. This is a garden that combines clematis, herbs, and color leaves with colorful roses such as pink, orange, and white as the main characters. You can enjoy colorful flowers.
