KAMU kanazawa is a private contemporary art museum that opened in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture in June 2020.

You can touch contemporary art while visiting the spaces within walking distance of "Center", "BlackBlack", "Sky", "L", and "tatami". It is also a point that you can enjoy it leisurely while enjoying walking around the city!

Of particular interest is Leandro Erlich's new work "INFINITE STAIRCASE." Leandro is a contemporary artist born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, who created "Swimming Pool" exhibited at 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa.

This work is an experiential installation work in which visitors can enter and enjoy the work inside a structure that resembles a spiral staircase turned on its side.

In April 2021, the "National Crafts Museum" was relocated and opened in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.

The building is the relocation of two former military facilities built in the Meiji period, the former Army 9th Division Headquarters Office and the former Army Kanazawa Kaikosha. The parts that were removed in the past and the color of the exterior have been restored.
