How to brew delicious coffee

If you enjoy coffee at home, you want it to be delicious. I asked the store manager for tips.

There are various ways to brew, but this time we will introduce paper drip, which is easy to incorporate at home. Paper drip is a method of putting coffee grounds in a filter and pouring hot water over it.

We use hot water of around 95°C. The higher the temperature of the water, the stronger the bitterness and acidity. The higher the temperature of the water, the more the ingredients are extracted and the stronger the bitterness and acidity will be. The lower the water temperature, the less the ingredients are extracted, resulting in a lighter taste."

“The amount of hot water is appropriate when a few drops fall from the dripper. Here, wait about 30 seconds to steam the coffee. components can be extracted firmly."

After steaming, pour hot water into the pot three or four times. Pour the hot water in three or four times in a "の (no: hiragana character)" shape from the center to the outside. If the hot water hits the edge of the paper filter, it will go straight into the extract without extracting the ingredients. This will result in insufficient extraction, so the key is to pour the hot water carefully.

For the first time, thin the hot water and pour it slowly. When half of the planned extraction volume is reached, add more hot water and pour in hot water a little earlier. 2 minutes to 2.5 minutes including steaming is a guideline for completion of extraction. ”

“During extraction, cream-like foam forms on the surface of the powder. If the hot water accumulated in the dripper runs out, it will cause harshness and unpleasant taste, so please remove the dripper before the hot water runs out.”

"Once it's brewed, pour the coffee into a warm cup and you're done."

After I actually got home, I brewed it while keeping in mind the points I asked about, and it tasted much better than before. You can make delicious coffee just by keeping the points down, so please try it.
