KUMU Kanazawa by THE SHARE HOTELS (hereafter referred to as KUMU Kanazawa) is located in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Located within walking distance from JR Kanazawa Station, this designer's hotel is recommended for those who want to enjoy a stylish hotel stay in Kanazawa.

This time I actually stayed at KUMU Kanazawa. I would like to report with plenty of photos.

About 20 minutes on foot from JR Kanazawa Station, or 5-6 minutes by taxi.

Renovation of a 44-year-old office building into a hotel. The concept is a cultural salon where up-and-coming local players in the region can gather and connect Kanazawa's traditional culture to the future.

The first floor is the entrance and common space. A tea salon "TEA SALON KISSA&Co." where you can enjoy tea is also located, offering contents where you can enjoy Kanazawa's traditional culture from a modern perspective.

Six "tokyobike" bicycles.

Bicycles can be rented at the hotel, so you can easily explore downtown Kanazawa.

Welcome drink with matcha green tea and fresh sweets

After checking in, you can have a welcome drink at "TEA SALON KISSA&Co."

On this day, we had a Kamigashi from "Chaka Kobo Tarou," a popular Japanese confectionery in Kanazawa. The elegant sweetness of the matcha green tea and the top-shelf confectionery made my travel fatigue melt away.

“TEA SALON KISSA&Co. is open until 23:00 (last order is 22:00), so you can enjoy matcha, Kaga-bocha, alcoholic drinks made with tea, and snacks.

This is a beer that you can enjoy with matcha.
The combination of authentic matcha and beer was more delicious than I imagined.

"TEA SALON KISSA&Co." is open to non-guests as well!

Which room are you interested in?

The room I chose this time is "STANDARD 4". A twin Western-style room with a daybed (double bed). The room is very spacious, so it can be used widely by couples, families, and friends.

The room had a high ceiling, so it was very comfortable. The big bathroom is also a nice point.

Guests can also enjoy a 10% discount at "TEA SALON KISSA&Co." by presenting their room key.

A shared tea table where you can enjoy tea

There are two tea tables in the building where you can enjoy tea. You can relax while brewing coffee or tea at the large table with a fireplace.

The shared tea table is always stocked with original teas and black teas. The packaging is also very sophisticated and nice.

KUMU's original herbal tea "Chamomile Roasted Tea" was also placed in the guest room. It's a great service to be able to enjoy tea casually like this.

In addition, there is a conference room on the 7th floor that can accommodate up to 8 people and a ROOFTOP overlooking Kanazawa city. In addition to being a refreshment space for guests, morning yoga, meditation workshops, and outdoor tea ceremonies are also held regularly.

Breakfast using ingredients from Kanazawa

One of the pleasures of a hotel stay is breakfast, and KUMU Kanazawa's Western-style breakfast set includes roast pork from Kanazawa butcher store NIKUO and Noto Milk yogurt, a popular drink at Wakura Onsen Hot Springs, and other local delicacies.

The volume was just right and it was very delicious.
