“Yamakichi Shoten” is located about 10 minutes by car from Togu Fudo Falls.

We are a fish and shellfish dealer with a history of about 100 years. They directly ship dried fish, such as dried mullet roe, dried delicacies, utsubo (moray eel), and shira (Japanese dolphinfish), etc. from Japan.

At Yamakichi Shoten, we would like you to try “Tuna Karasumi,” which uses the ovaries of the farmed tuna, a specialty product.

Minami-Ise is also a popular area for tuna farming that makes use of sea bream farming techniques. As Mr. Arisue introduced earlier, it is distributed nationwide as the three major tuna brands in Minami Ise, "Mie Maguro", "Nada Maguro" and "Ise Maguro". On the other hand, the internal organs had no use and were simply thrown away.

“Tuna no Karasumi” was born from the idea of making a special product using such internal organs. Unlike common mullet roe, it takes 100 days to produce.
