Sakae South Peaks - The shop is located at the back of the first floor.

"MY ONLY FRAGRANCE NAGOYA" is located on the first floor of the shopping complex "Sakae South Peaks", about a 10-minute walk from Yabacho station of Nagoya Municipal Subway.

It's easily accessible from the Sakae area, and the location makes it easy to drop in after lunch or shopping.

The interior of the store is stylish, like a scene from a movie.

This time, we visited "MY ONLY FRAGRANCE NAGOYA" and experienced making our own fragrance!

We will introduce not only the procedure but also the special points and highlights. Please use this as a reference when you visit the store.

First, scan the QR code at the reception and register your LINE account. After the fragrance is completed, you can save the information and check the details of each scent mixed that day on LINE.

You can choose from two sizes of custom-made fragrances: 50ml and 100ml. You can also choose the concentration of the fragrance, either Eau de Toilette (EDT) or Eau de Parfum (EDP), and the color of the bottle cap, either silver or gold.

The number of fragrances that can be mixed is about 2 to 5 types, and there are apparently more than 650,000 possible combinations.

Each "nameless scent" is assigned a number.

One of the most distinctive features is the "Nameless Fragrance," which is the base of a fragrance and has no name, only a number.

This "Nameless Fragrance" is imbued with the desire to have people choose the scent they instinctively like, without any preconceived notions that may arise from information such as the name or ingredients.

Take time to taste the fragrances one by one. They are arranged in different types and strains, so even if they are placed next to each other, they have completely different atmospheres and fragrances.

Coffee beans are also available in the store to help you reset your aroma.

If you've tried too many different scents and can't decide what to do, try smelling the coffee beans to reset yourself. The store is filled with a variety of scents, so going outside and taking a deep breath is a good way to reset yourself.

In addition to the base "Nameless Fragrance," there are also special fragrances that can be added for an additional 500 yen. Each fragrance has its name and ingredients printed on it, so you can choose from a wide variety of scents, from classic to unusual!

It also has unique scents such as "Lychee Oolong"!

The scents are fun to compare, such as "Lychee Oolong," "White Musk," and "Candy Magic." The accents are strong, so adding just a small amount can make a big difference in the scent.

It's fun to carefully choose your scent while thinking about what kind of scent will be created if you mix this with that, but if you intuitively gather scents that you like and combine them, you might unexpectedly create a new scent that you like.

Get exclusive advice from an experienced fragrance advisor

Fill out the order sheet with the fragrance you have chosen.

This time we ordered two different fragrances. We're excited to see what kind of scent they'll end up with!

Once you fill in the order sheet with the name and number of the fragrance you have chosen, a fragrance advisor staff member will apply the scent to the mouette one by one.

Check the scent again with a blotter.

As well as reconfirming the scent, we will also adjust the ratio of fragrances to decide which scent to use more of when mixing. Experienced professionals are on hand to give you advice, so you can rest assured that you can consult with them immediately even when you have a problem.

The staff were very attentive and polite, so I was able to enjoy choosing the fragrances and the ratios without any worries.

Once the scent and ratio have been decided, the next step is the most exciting part: the mixing process.

The moment of the fantastic mixture is like a scientific experiment.

You can actually see the process of blending the scents you have chosen one by one right there and then! Being able to see the blending process right in front of you is the real pleasure of ordering a custom-made product.

The way the fragrances mix together is so fantastic that you can't help but watch.

Once mixing has been finished, check the scent with a blotter. You can also adjust the ratio of the scent here, so take your time to think it through!

Create a special fragrance bottle with a personalized label

Finally, give your fragrance a name. The name you choose here will be printed on the label that will be attached to the fragrance bottle, so think of something memorable like your name, birthday, anniversary, etc.!

Fonts are available in four types of alphanumeric characters, hiragana, katakana, kanji (Chinese characters), and even symbols such as Hangul and ♡☆. Many people who have a favorite artist, musician etc. also add their favorite's name and birthday. It is also great for fan activities!

They will also neatly attach the name labels right in front of you.

During this process, this is the moment when the eyes of the customers and the camera are focused. There was a sense of tension in the air, and I found myself holding my breath! I heard that this is the most exciting moment for the store staff as well.

Finally, our original fragrance is complete! The scents we chose matched perfectly and turned out to be even better than we imagined.
