There are Many other Highlights!
Nagoya City Science Museum has a total floor area of 22,551.32㎡. There are so many places to see that you can't see them all in one day!
At the "Woody Playland" on the 2nd floor of the Science and Technology Building, small children can take off their shoes and play with wooden toys. Families with small children can also enjoy this!
In the "Fushigi no Hiroba (The Wonder Plaza)", there are exhibits that have been familiar to visitors since the days of the old Science and Technology Building, such as "Fun Electric Shock (Irritating Bar Game)" and "Disappearing Body".
The 5th floor of the Astronomy Building, where the planetarium is located, is a floor where visitors can experience the vast scale of the universe. The exhibits look like something out of a science fiction movie, and the excitement never lets up!
The "Periodic Table," which I had a hard time memorizing as a student, will be fun to learn because of the touch panel and actual examples of use like this on display. I wish I had something like this when I was a student!
Many of the exhibits fill up quickly on Saturdays and Sundays, so we recommend that you visit early. Tickets for all exhibits except the planetarium can be purchased in advance at convenience stores. Junior high school students and younger are admitted free of charge, so we encourage you to bring the whole family!
