Finnish sauna

Hakusan Onsen

Hakusan Onsen, located in Nishi Ward, Nagoya City, has a history of 110 years. This is an old-fashioned public bath located about 5 minutes by car from Nagoya Station. Here you can enjoy two types of saunas.

The first is the far-infrared sauna.

The temperature is set at a high level of approximately 90 degrees. It is important to wash your body in the shower before entering the sauna to increase perspiration. The far-infrared rays efficiently warm the entire body.

The second is the herbal steam sauna.

Anshin Oyado Premier Nagoya Sakae

"Anshin Oyado Premier Nagoya Sakae Branch" is about a 3-minute walk from Nagoya Sakae Station. This is a new capsule hotel that just opened in December 2019 near downtown Sakae.

Poka Poka Onsen Shin-Moriyama no Yu

Poka Poka Onsen Shin-Moriyama no Yu is located in Moriyama Ward, Nagoya. It is a cozy sento that was renewed in 2017. Even so, the quality is as fulfilling as a super sento. There are more than 10 types of baths, including saunas and water baths! It is loved by a wide range of customers, from locals to sauna connoisseurs.

The interesting sauna room is a far-infrared sauna that heats the room to nearly 95 degrees. A TV is also provided, so you can work up a sweat while watching TV to avoid boredom.

After working up a sweat in the sauna, cool down in the water bath. There are also chairs for outdoor bathing, so it's a great way to cool down your flushed body while taking in the outside breeze.
