On September 5, 2019, "select shop mocamoca" was relocated and opened in the Nagoya area. It is a select shop of household goods that introduces "good things of Japan".

The store is lined with items that are not too simple but playful, selected from all over Japan. There are many items that you can't find anywhere else.

Mocamoca is located on the 2nd floor of the Nagoya Building, about a 5-minute walk from the Kokusai Center Station on the Sakuradori subway line. A wonderful glass-enclosed shop suddenly appears in a retro apartment. Look for the yellow signboard.

A place where you can meet “good things of Japan”

mocamoca is operated by Jewel Japan, a trading company that exports Japan-made goods and tableware overseas. Jewel Japan exports Japan-made sundries and tableware to overseas markets.

They used to run a select store in a corner of Choja-machi shopping street for about 15 years, but last September we relocated and opened on the second floor of the Nakono Building North Building.

The keyword is "modern cool art".

The shop owner handles the selection himself, and there are many items that are not too simple but playful. We also offer a wide variety of works and items by domestic artists that are rarely handled at other stores.

Pebble Ceramic Design Studio Ryota Ishihara

The vessels were designed by Ryota Ishihara of Pebble Ceramic Design Studio, who is attracting attention as a young artist. The concept is "a vessel for eating delicious food".

Mr. Ishihara himself is a cooking enthusiast. Because Mr. Ishihara loves to cook, the size, shape, design, and ease of use of these dishes are convincing when you see them in use. The fact that it is microwave and dishwasher safe is also a nice feature for daily use.

By the way, Mr. Ishihara's father is a craftsman who makes pottery molds. The bird figurine made by such a father is also very cute and adorable.

ttyokzk ceramic design

Mr. Tatsuya Okazaki, a ceramic designer of "ttyokzk ceramic design"  who  is active in Kiyosu City.

A swaying spice bowl. There are many items that are playful even though they have a simple design, such as a sugar pot that naturally fits the handle of a spoon in the center when the lid is put on. There are many colors, so please find your favorite.

Kamoshika Douguten (Kamoshika Tool Shop)

"Kamoshika Douguten" is a brand launched in 2014 by Yamaguchi Toki, a banko-yaki kiln in Komono Town, Mie Prefecture. It is a noteworthy Banko ware brand that is handled by lifestyle shops nationwide and Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten.

"Ginger grater" that does not spoil the flavor of ingredients, boil, bake, steam. Even though it is simple, there are many ideas that make everyday dining fun, such as the "Santoku Nabe" that can be used to cook delicious rice.
