"Sobokai Depot," a complex facility for food and entertainment operated by a pottery maker in Seto City

This time, we will introduce recommended spots in Seto, Aichi Prefecture, which is famous for producing pottery. This is Sobokai Depot, a food complex produced by Marumitsu Pottery, a pottery manufacturer in Seto.

With the "Macaroni Cafe & Bakery," a cafe where you can enjoy lunch and sweets with tableware brand dishes, the "Soramame Tableware Shop," a store where you can purchase Marumitsu Pottery tableware, and the "Sobokai Cooking School," a tableware brand cooking class, this spot enriches your daily dining experience from tableware to cooking.

The best way to get to Sobokai Depot is by car. It is located about 2 km along Prefectural Route 33 after exiting the Seto Akatsu Expressway on the Tokai Kanjo Expressway. There are two parking lots on the premises and the second parking lot. In the case of train, it is about 15 minutes on foot from Meitetsu Seto Line "Owari Seto" station.

The hut in front of the building is “HUTTE,” which specializes in takeout. Homemade tarts and breads are available for purchase.

The cafe & bakery, tableware store, and cooking class are located on the second floor of the building up the outside stairs.

You can check the menu of the cafe on the board under the stairs. We arrived just before 12:00. It was lunch time, and a very delicious scent drifted.

Going up the stairs, you will see a cooking class, a tableware store, and a café, in that order, starting at the front. The glass walls allow visitors to see what is going on inside, making it easy to enter alone.
