Hello. I'm Kanae, a photographer.
This time, my camera walk will be from the Port of Nagoya to Tsukijiguchi. And my companion camera is "Konica Big mini F" (except for the photos in the stores).
As a side note, I am a little worried about the condition of my "Konica Big mini F" lately. It seems that the focus is a little weak... It is sad that compact film cameras are difficult to fix when broken.
"Nagoya Port - Tsukijiguchi" is an area that I have never taken a leisurely walk.
It's exciting to take a walk in a place where you don't know what's there or what the atmosphere is like!
Now, let's take a look at the retro and warm "Nagoya Port - Tsukijiguchi".

First, we headed to "Kissa Shimai"
Here, I had the usual morning breakfast.
According to word of mouth, the fruit sandwiches are delicious.
But in the morning, if you order coffee, it comes with toast in morning breakfast.
When I was wondering what to do, the staff said, "If you choose the half-size fruit sandwich, you can eat both." So I greedily ordered morning breakfast + fruit sandwich.
There are some regular customers in the old-fashioned atmosphere.
The fruit sandwich has a gentle sweetness, and the staff are kind to me even though it's my first time. It was a coffee shop that made me feel kind.
Having eaten, I decided to walk toward Nagoya Port.
The tropical feel of the area and the retro buildings are perfect for film photography, and as I was walking along I found a small camera shop.
It's "Hayashi Camera Company".
When I took a peek, there were used cameras lined up, so I decided to enter.
When I entered and looked at the camera, the owner of the camera shop came out.
There was also a rare film video camera in the store, and when I expressed my interest, he told me about it.
"How much can I get for it?' I asked, and he said "I don't know if it works. If you still want it, come again and I will sell it to you." I wonder how much it costs....
A few minutes walk out of the store with a mystery in my mind, I arrived at the Port of Nagoya!
Walk around the park and make a U-turn to return toward Tsukiji-guchi.
When I went for a walk, azaleas were blooming everywhere and it was very beautiful.
On the way back, I entered "Coffee & Snack Madoka" just as I am thirsty.
As I was cooling off, regulars came and went.
They were having conversations like, "There's Mr. △△△ at 00 (a restaurant in the area)" or "Are you eating ▲▲▲ again? I thought it was very nice to have this kind of exchange with neighbors, which is very rare nowadays.
After leaving the shop, I headed to “Chinese Cuisine Nijuban” that appeared in the conversation of “Coffee Madoka”.
I was wondering where to go for lunch, but if the residents of Tsukijiguchi go there, it must be good! So I decided on this place.
It was around 14:00, but the restaurant was still full.
I had fried rice while there were many menus.
My grandma used to run a coffee shop, but for some reason there were many Chinese menus and I loved the fried rice that she used to make for me.
Somehow I felt that the taste of this fried rice was similar to it and it made me feel nostalgic.
After lunch, I headed to Minatomachi POTLUCK BUILDING.
Nothing was being held when I visited, but it is a place where events, workshops, and exhibitions are held.
On the 1st floor, there is a rest area and free papers from all over Japan selected by the free paper specialty store "ONLY FREE PAPER", so please take a look.
At the end of this walk, I would buy souvenirs and go home.
I stopped by “Niku no Marusan Main Store” and “Toriken”.
I will buy delicious fried chicken and croquettes here and go home.
All of them were very delicious, so I decided to definitely buy them when I came next time.
I walked a lot this time on the camera walk.
Tsukijiguchi was an unfamiliar place to me, but I was completely captivated by the nostalgic streetscape.
There are coffee shops all over the place and I couldn't visit them all in one visit, so I'd like to visit them next time.
