Each station has a section labeled "Available for Rental," which lists the number of bikes available. Once you've decided which station you want to rent from, press the "Reserve" button.
The color of the vehicle icon in the frame indicates the status of the station.
Black vehicle icons in the frame indicate stations with available vehicles.

We actually rode HELLO CYCLING!
This time, we actually rode HELLO CYCLING and cruised the Meijo Park-Ozone route. You need to register with the app to use the service, so be sure to install and register in advance!
Although wearing a helmet is not "mandatory" but "effort is required," we should make an effort to wear it for safe driving.
Rent a bicycle at the station!
First, rent the bicycle you reserved in advance at the station.
It is often fully booked, so we recommend making a reservation in advance.
Reservations are valid for 30 minutes and there are no fees during the reservation.
This time we rented from the station at Nagoya City Hall.
First, we cycled around the moat of Nagoya Castle. The area around the moat, with its bright green foliage, is perfect for pottering around.
We go around the moat and head towards the Shimizu/Amagasaka area.
While I was running, I came across a statue of Kato Kiyomasa.
Let's take a commemorative photo.
You can also see the top of Nagoya Castle's castle tower in the distance. This is also a recommended photo spot.
The moat and Nagoya Castle came into view.
I parked my bike nearby and gazed out at the view from the moat.
The moat of Nagoya Castle remains almost exactly as it was when the castle was built, meaning the view from here is the same as the feudal lord saw 400 years ago.
This is a good spot for pottering, as you can see the water moat, Nagoya Castle, and cherry blossoms in spring, and autumn leaves in fall all at once.
After enjoying pottering around the moat, I was getting hungry.
Let's head to the Shimizu/Amagasaka area.
Curry lunch at Rokushiki Coffee
After about a 10-minute ride from the moat of Nagoya Castle, we arrived at Rokushiki Coffee at Meitetsu Amagasaka Station. Here we took a break and had lunch.
Rokushiki Coffee is a shop that uses a siphon to carefully brew each cup of carefully roasted specialty coffee.
Inside the store, there are rows of siphons that look like laboratory equipment lined up on the counter.
"Dried curry" is a dish made by slowly frying vegetables and minced meat to bring out their sweetness. It is a popular dish served with quail eggs. It is served with pickled ginger and cream cheese, and you can mix it to your liking.
After the meal, we enjoyed the siphon-brewed coffee we were looking forward to. They offer both hot and iced coffee, so we recommend the iced one, which is refreshing during the hot season.
Enjoying a delicious cup of coffee is a blissful moment filled with happiness.
We also recommend cream soda, a long-standing favorite at coffee shops.
It was a wonderful shop that made me feel relaxed and at ease.

SAKUMACHI Shopping Street, a shopping street under the elevated railway line
After filling your stomach, go to the SAKUMACHI shopping street located under the elevated railway tracks between Amagasaka and Shimizu Stations on the Meitetsu Seto Line.
There are a variety of shops, including restaurants, lined up, so you can enjoy walking from station to station.
Use a public bicycle parking area when getting off in the middle of the ride!
Lock the rear wheel circle lock by pushing in the knob and turning it down until it stops.
To open the lock, simply tap "Unlock" on the app.
After parking your bike, start strolling around SAKUMACHI Shopping Street.
I discovered the bakery I wanted to go to, Tsubame Pan & MILK!
This is a specialty store that sells healthy bread made with natural yeast.
I got some bread for tomorrow's breakfast.
This is "OKASHITABETAI (I want to have some snacks)."
The store is like a theme park and sells all the sweets that children love.
The shop also houses the extremely popular parfait specialty shop "Cafe de Lyon palette." On the day we visited, the shop was fully booked.
Next we headed to "Delica Kitchen," a very popular delicatessen store. They offer mainly prepared foods, as well as freshly baked bread, and also have an dine-in space.
The store is lined with delicious looking side dishes. I got tonight's side dish here.
SAKUMACHI Shopping Street is fully equipped with bicycle parking facilities, making it the perfect place to visit by bicycle.

To Ozone Station
After leaving SAKUMACHI shopping street, head to Ozone station.
It takes only 10 minutes from Amagasaka station to Ozone station.
This time we will return here.
Park your bike by placing the front wheel in the bike rack.
The station may be full, so be sure to make a reservation in advance when returning the car!
Once the key clicks into place, you can return it.
In this case, you can use either the button on the app or the return button on the bike!
After returning the bike, toast with a beer at Brewpub Ozone!
After returning the bicycle, let's have a toast at our final destination, Brewpub Ozone!
Being able to enjoy a drink after returning the bike is one of the great things about bike sharing.
Brewpub Ozone is a craft beer specialty store where you can enjoy freshly brewed craft beer brewed in the Ozone shopping district.
They always have 10 types of craft beer on hand, and they also take pride in their homemade dishes, which are made with no additives or pesticides and use only the finest ingredients.
For first-time visitors, we recommend the three-beer tasting set. There are charts in the store that show you the different types of beer and their flavors, so even beginners to craft beer can enjoy themselves with ease.
Brewpub Ozone is a beer bar where you can casually enjoy "Ozone Beer" brewed in-house. It has an atmosphere that makes it easy for even those who are not familiar with craft beer to visit, so please be sure to stop by.

★Wappa no Kai also operates the complex facility "Sone ŌZONE", which has five functions: a shop, an event hall, and a local consultation corner, centered on the resource purchase center "Shigen Cafe" with a café. See the article below for details.
The advantage of shared bicycles is that you do not necessarily have to return to the place where you rented the bike to return it. You can return the bike to a station near your destination and enjoy a drink, as in this case, or you can be flexible and choose to go on a shared bike ride on the way there and walk or take a bus on the way back because it was raining.
Another great thing about HELLO CYCLING is that there is a maximum price limit, so you don't have to worry about money.
<After trying>
This time we pottered around Nagoya City Hall ~ Ozone station. We enjoyed just feeling the breeze, visiting places we would not have gone if we had taken the train, and discovering new stores.
There are many unexpected situations where a bicycle would be useful, such as "It takes a little longer to walk, but not long enough to take a cab," or "Even if I use public transportation, it is too far from the nearest station and the time required is not much different from walking after all".
Please try incorporating HELLO CYCLING into your daily life.
