[Komaki] Komaki Children's Miraikan, a Free Playground Perfect for Family Outings!

" Komaki Children's Miraikan " is a children's house in Komaki City where children can have fun and find their own learning through a variety of play and experiences. In addition to playground equipment such as athletic equipment, the facility also offers digital play, a drone experience, craft classes, and other activities that will change your image of a children's museum.

This time, we went to "Komaki Children's Miraikan" which is recommended for going out with children!

What is Komaki Children's Miraikan?

The children's center, which was originally located in Komaki City, has moved to the commercial building "Rapio" in front of "Komaki Station" on the Meitetsu Komaki Line and will open in March 2021.

The “Experience Hiroba” is full of attractive courses where you can find new learning that you cannot experience at school or at home. Each course is led by university professors and specialist outside instructors, and nurtures children's curiosity and inquisitiveness through experiences in various genres such as handicrafts, art, and music.

"Huge crafts" popular with small children

A huge cardboard object car. Adults and children alike are fascinated by the elaborate craftsmanship, such as opening the door to get on, turning the steering wheel, and changing the tires.

A section where you can enjoy crafts tailored to small children. The content changes regularly, so no matter how many times you come, you will be excited.

For elementary school students and older, there is a corner where they can freely choose their own materials and enjoy making crafts. It is also interesting to see what your friends have made.

Playable crafts made by the staff. It will be a hint for your home time with your children.

"Programming Lab" is a popular course that incorporates new technology

We also recommend courses tailored to the children of the future, such as courses using iPads, programming, and drone experience.

In addition, the “Interaction Experience CAMP” is held with the cooperation of supporters, where children can enjoy participating.
