Let's have fun together with children and adults!
Reasonably priced golf and barbecue

Shiki no Mori's "disc golf course" is the largest in the Tokai region!

Do you know disc golf? We learned about it for the first time during this interview. It's about playing golf with a frisbee. This course with ups and downs has 18 holes per round, and the total length is about 1.2km! It is said to be the largest in the Tokai region. It looks like it's going to be a lot of exercise.

A game in which such a basket is prepared and you compete to see how many throws you can put in the basket. There is also a sheet to write the score, it is full-fledged!

Pay the usage fee and rent a dedicated frisbee at the reception. There are also lockers, so you can store your luggage and concentrate on playing without having to bring anything. Depending on the number of players, it seems that one round can be completed in about an hour to an hour and a half.

“Park Golf” is popular with people of all ages

A golf-like sport that can be enjoyed with a club, a ball, and a tee. Pay the usage fee and rent clubs and balls at the reception.

Clubs and balls are larger than regular golf, and clubs for children can be borrowed. There is also a locker here, and you can get a sheet to write your score.

The course has 18 holes per round, and the total length is about 870m. The course is certified by the Japan Park Golf Association. The lawn is so beautiful!

There are hills and bunkers on the course, so it seems like it would be fun to have some difficulty. The course is about an hour for adults alone, but it is also good for parents and children or three generations to play slowly. It seems to be a good opportunity for children to see the activities of their dads and grandpas.

Barbecue facilities" where you can have charcoal made (reservation required)

A very large relaxing open space with beautiful green lawns. At the covered barbecue area inside, you can have the charcoal lit up at your reserved time.

Doesn't it take time and effort to prepare charcoal? It is a very nice service to have charcoal made. You don't have to worry about carrying heavy equipment, so even beginners can use it with peace of mind.

You need to prepare your own food, oil, tableware, detergent, etc.

1,500 yen for 2 hours (3 kg of charcoal, with ignition agent). 500 yen for wire mesh and 300 yen for iron plate are charged separately.

Children with full stomachs can run around the lawn and play. Adults can enjoy a barbecue slowly while gazing at the greenery.

It's convenient because the roofed area and restrooms are nearby!

Let's enjoy Shimin Shiki no Mori more!

When the mist comes out, a rainbow appears! "Rainbow Waterfall"

The water is as deep as an adult's ankle. In summer, children are excited by the regular mist. They can see a rainbow when they get close to the mist.

It seems that various creatures live here because the water quality is not managed as a swimming facility. Some children were obsessed with observing aquatic insects.

Not all creatures are safe, so please be careful about safety management.

There is also bouldering in the "multipurpose square"!

There are two lawn open spaces in Shimin Shiki no Mori. There is the `"Kutsurogi Hiroba''(relaxation plaza) with the barbecue facilities that we introduced earlier, and the "Tamokuteki Hiroba'' (multipurpose plaza) located in the southwest part of the park. Both have very well-maintained lawns.

It is very spacious, so you can enjoy playing ball and badminton to the fullest. It is nice that there are shade trees, benches, and washrooms. In the pleasant season, we would like to spend a relaxing time with our lunch spread out.

Enjoyment of the four seasons

Cherry blossoms in spring, roses and hydrangeas in summer, autumn leaves in autumn, and bird watching in winter.

You can enjoy a blanket of cherry blossoms at Hanami no Oka, and a tunnel of cherry blossoms from the north parking lot to the south.

You can enjoy various flowers in full bloom in spring.

There are many kinds of roses and they are worth seeing. Some roses are in bloom from spring to autumn, so you can enjoy them for a long time.

Beyond the roses is the Waterside Music Plaza.

You can also see a lot of hydrangea, so there are people who come to enjoy this place.

Annabelle with large flowers is a masterpiece.

In winter, the leaves fall off the trees and the visibility opens up, making it the perfect season for birdwatching. It was July at the time of shooting, but many birds came to pick the nuts.

There is also an Azumaya in the Little Bird Forest where you can quietly observe birds.

Running and walking while immersed in forest bathing

As you stroll through the park, you will pass by people who enjoy running and walking. The circumference of the park road is about 1km, so it is easy to count the distance.

There are many passages, ups and downs, and stairs in the forest, so you can enjoy a different route each time. It seems like it would be nice to do a lot of aerobic exercise in the lush green forest that makes you want to take a deep breath.

There is an observatory near the center of the park.

"Shimin Shiki no Mori" is a vast site rich in nature with a full range of exciting facilities. On a sunny day, why don't you and your family bring a packed lunch and spend the whole day playing to your heart's content? We are sure that you will find your favorite games and seasonal delights.
