The "TOYODA G1 Truck" was completed in August 1935.

Only one car was restored in 1994 (Heisei 6), when the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology was opened, based on photographs and drawings from that time. It is also used for filming of TV dramas.

At that time, it was required by law to wear a brush to prevent "mud splashing" on passersby.

The Toyoda AA Passenger Car, Toyota's first production passenger car, was completed in April 1936.

An all-steel body was adopted, and the design of the front portion of the Model A1 prototype introduced earlier was changed. A total of 1,404 units were produced, and the technology built on the Model AA became the foundation for future Toyota Motors.

After the Tokyo Olympics in 1964, the construction of highways progressed and the era of the private car arrived. The Corolla and Celica were born as mass-produced mass-market cars.

In the 1990s, the era of car manufacturing was marked by consideration for the global environment, safety, and security. The Prius was developed as an environmentally friendly car. In this way, we can see that car manufacturing reflects the global market and the background of the times.
