Toyoda G1 Truck (1935)

The "TOYODA G1 Truck" was completed in August 1935.

Only one car was restored in 1994 (Heisei 6), when the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology was opened, based on photographs and drawings from that time. It is also used for filming of TV dramas.

The tip of the hood is designed with the symbol of Nagoya, the "Shachihoko (Golden Dolphines)".

At that time, it was required by law to wear a brush to prevent "mud splashing" on passersby.

Toyoda AA passenger car (1936)

The engine is mounted on the front axle, providing a large interior space.

The Toyoda AA Passenger Car, Toyota's first production passenger car, was completed in April 1936.

An all-steel body was adopted, and the design of the front portion of the Model A1 prototype introduced earlier was changed. A total of 1,404 units were produced, and the technology built on the Model AA became the foundation for future Toyota Motors.

Toyopet Crown Standard (1955)

The Toyopet Crown Standard (first generation Crown) was the first full-fledged passenger car developed by Toyota using purely domestic technology. In 1956, it successfully traveled 50,000 km between London and Tokyo!

The blinker design is very retro. The leather seats were also surprisingly comfortable.
