What is Nine Hours?
The concept of "Nine Hours" is "Reset from an old day to a new day". This capsule hotel specializes in the 3 functions required of a hotel. "Shower. Sleep. And get ready".
These 3 activities are considered to be 1h (shower) + 7h (sleep) + 1h (getting ready), for a total of 9h. This simple, new accommodation facility provides the necessary stay environment for each of these activities.
Nine Hours is only a 2-minute walk from Exit 1 of the underground shopping center at JR Nagoya Station. It can be used in various situations such as before or after your stay at the Central Japan International Airport, sightseeing in Nagoya, or business trips.
Floors are separated for men and women, so you can stay even if you are a woman alone.
Let's Check In!
When you enter the entrance, you will be greeted with a nice aroma of coffee. There is a check-in counter ahead of the cafe space.
Check-in time is from 2:00 p.m. and check-out time is until 10:00 a.m. the next morning. You can pay by cash or various credit cards (VISA, Master, American Express, JCB). After checking in, you can go out anytime.
It is recommended to download the official app when making reservations. Smart check-in makes it easy! With Touch & Go, simply hold up your smartphone to complete the check-in procedure, and the smartphone itself doubles as a locker key.
After checking in, you will receive a free amenity bag and a card key with a two-dimensional code.
<Contents of amenity bag>
・in-house wear
・slippers
・toothbrush set
・bath towel
・face towel
・bath mat
Hold your room card with a two-dimensional code over it when going up the elevator or opening a locker.
Also, the elevators are separated by gender, so women can feel at ease.
Rooftop Penthouse with a Panoramic View of the Landscape
The lounge on the top floor is especially recommended in the building. The feeling of openness is outstanding, and you can overlook the scenery of Nagoya.
It was designed by Keiji Ashizawa, the architect who was also in charge of the architectural design of "Nine Hours Kamata." Pay attention to the materials, colors and light used in the interior. We have carefully considered and designed each detail and combination.
You can stay in a calm atmosphere even though you are in the hustle and bustle of the city.
The outlets are also designed to be usable by people in most countries. While looking at the scenery outside, desk work seems to progress. At night, it would be nice to have a cup of coffee while watching the night view.
Futuristic Capsule Room
Next, let's go to the capsule room. The spaceship-like sleeping pod (capsule) features a smooth design made of FRP (fiber reinforced plastic).
The interior has no corners and has a cocoon-like shape, so it has a design that reduces the feeling of blockage.
It's not too narrow, nor too wide. Enough space for one person to sleep.
And another point to achieve a good night's sleep is the pillow. Kitamura, a long-established pillow maker in Aichi Prefecture, has redesigned "Gymnast Plus" for Nine Hours. The structure and shape of five different materials arranged in eight sections support natural tossing and turning.
Sophisticated Washroom and Shower Room
Clean washroom and shower room. The washroom spaces are spaced far apart, making it difficult to feel the presence of the person next to you.
The shower rooms are of course separate for men and women.
There are many shower rooms, so it seems that you can use them when you want. It's a completely private room, and there's a space where you can change clothes.
Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap use the long-established brand "TAMANOHADA".
Spring, autumn and winter are scented with figs, and summer is a blend of peppermint and multiple mint essential oils with lemongrass oil. It is a refreshing scent that spreads the image of fresh green in the coolness.
Mini sets can also be purchased at the front desk.
80ml each ¥1620- (tax included)
At nine hours, you can use not only accommodation (from 4,900 yen), but also showers (24 hours) for 700 yen. (Use within 1 hour) Everything you need is available, so please use it when you need it!
