“Community Park Gruun Tokoname” opened in November 2021 at the same time as the adjacent children's playground, BOAT KIDS PARK Mooovi Toname as a local community base for multi-generational interaction that leads to children's growth, utilizing the space of Boat Race Tokoname.

You can spend your time relaxing and enjoying the seasons and nature, or spend your time actively participating in events and workshops, and interacting with various people. It is a park where you can enrich your daily life and realize your ideal way of spending your time.

What is "Community Park Gruun Tokoname"?

Community Park Gruun, the first of its kind in the industry to be undertaken in collaboration with play specialist Bonelund, features an outdoor fitness and yoga studio, a running course, and an environment designed to take advantage of trees, plants and flowers, as well as a lawn area, making it suitable for all generations, from children to seniors.

In collaboration with citizens and local businesses and organizations, the park also offers a new sense of park where multiple generations can naturally interact with each other, including community exchange events that allow visitors to experience the culture and traditions of Tokoname City.

The park center provides information on park facilities, activities, and events, as well as restrooms, changing rooms, lockers, and rest areas. They also provide free rentals of soccer balls and other equipment for playing in the park.

Anyone can rent the facilities in "Community Park Gruun" for free.

By holding culture classes and marches on a regular basis, it is exploring the possibility of new regional contributions that unite the region with citizens, companies, and organizations, and making proposals to society that will serve as a benchmark for park utilization nationwide. The multi-purpose studio regularly holds events for citizens to participate in, such as play programs for families and exercise programs led by instructors. When there are no events or on rainy days, it can also be used as a space where you can play with the playground equipment.

An artificial turf game field with mini futsal and basketball goals. Balls are available for free rental at the Park Center.

There are also staff who teach soccer, so it is unique to "Community Park Gruun" that you can easily learn. Events such as soccer classes are held irregularly.

The circle is an enclosed space, so even small children can enjoy ball games with peace of mind. You can enjoy moving your body while interacting in a small group.

A roofed facility where you can experience programs, events, and physical play

You can relax or exercise, and the large roof allows you to use it anytime, even when the sun is shining or it rains.

Fresh events that you can't experience often, such as parkour tag, are also attractive.

Outdoor workshops and nature workshops where you can enjoy the outdoors

Vegetables and flowers are also managed by the staff and used for events. In autumn, there are events such as baking the sweet potatoes harvested here.
